I think him "considering the offer" is somewhat concerning for the Wizards honestly. If I offered someone that much money and they hesitated, I'd have to wonder what their thinking is in regards to our team and his future there.

For what it's worth Windhorst said Westbrook is doing the same thing and may not take it.

I sure hope so. Would love to have him in the mix next summer.

Those numbers are just mind "bottling."

$42.5 million per year. Not even Antoine Walker could spend all of that.

Lol, no doubt. Adjusted for inflation it might even be enough to feed Latrell Sprewell's family. :Fishwink:

Wall's agent is Rich Paul (Lebron's agent) and I think what Lebron has been doing these last 4 years is rubbing off on some other athletes. Instead of signing the extension immediately lets put some pressure on the franchise to make the team better before committing to anything. Fair or smart that is what it appears Wall is doing and what Lebron has been doing since his days with MIA.

I agree, but if you're that team you have to be nervous with that approach.

And with well run organizations, you shouldn't need that threat.

The Wizards need Wall way more than he needs them, I'd take my time if I were him too.
