It was Popovich and Cuban who led the pressure on Stern. The latter did not want another Pau Gasol type of trade to benefit us. The former? Well we know how that is.

Paul is still really good...injuries and past wimpy teammates aside. Maybe Houston can get Alfonso Ribeiro on the team. That New Chris Paul from the State Farm commercials?

I remember reading .... anyone else (?) .... that his knees were problematic when he was still with New Orleans. Fake news?

They cut out the small tear in his MCL?? instead of sewing it back together because the recovery time was much quicker and he could play. Eventually it will wear down and it could be bone on bone since that cushion will not be there. That may or may not happen while he’s still playing ball.

yeah, he's been on borrowed time for years, but he's still ticking somehow. you won't want to be holding the bag when the cops show up for that one, though. that's a lot of scratch.

anyway, waiting on the "The Houston Rockets will aggressively purse <insert biggest star FA name here>. Daryl Morey doesn't have the money right now, but sources assure me that you just never know what that genius/wizard is going to do!"

been saying for a while that i expected him to bolt. too big an ego to try to get out of the corner he painted himself into.

yes, ownership helped paint him there, but we can dispense with the "wizard" label now, finally, right?

oh no. of course, the ringer already has a piece lionizing him out now.

anyway, personal reasons my a**. he saw that they're going nowhere and didn't want the stink on him. he'll show up and take the boston job in a couple years, leading to full media orgasm and no more titles.

    I hope they will suck.

I hate them. To see Harden and Pringles suffer was fun to watch.

No team that really wants to win a championship should EVER hire Pringles. He is good for underachieving teams who have trouble scoring. He will get their offense moving and elevate the status of it's players. He will NEVER win a championship on his accord. He is a stop gap to simply put out a fun product to watch, while you sell beer and hotdogs to make a living. Ask Jimmy!
