Has had 3 games now already where he’s been on fire and like 4 3s high %. How many scorchers did Danny have over the whole season? One, two?
He should start instead of Schroder but that won’t happen for a while - maybe the playoffs. Hopefully he can adapt in the meantime but bench is not the best role for him. He’s a 3 and D guy but he’s not a score first guy at all. Dennis is. Wes is a much better fit with Gasol, Lebron and AD. He can lock down the perimeter guys and get out on those shooters.
he's a really good one on one defender against wings (big physical sfs and quick pgs can take him). a lot of it is that he's proactive more than reactive when possible. he plays angles and puts pressure on folks, and he's strong. he really looks very similar to the pre-achilles version--i just don't think he can play 35mpg anymore like he used to.
And thankfully he doesn't have to. Our guard rotation is stacked when everyone's healthy. I mean they should all be splitting minutes (24 each). But even then you still have to leave some for THT because he's that compelling as well and needs to grow. I'd be cutting off another 2-3 minutes from each to give THT some PT (8-12 mpg).
Am sure they will at times. Did he wind up on him at all during the 2nd round of the playoffs? Tough assignment for a rookie basically. But he's got the mass and the long arms to maybe perform decently even at this super young age at it.
Yeah just read that he's got achilles soreness. Glad he's sitting this one out in that case. We'll miss his D though. At least KCP is back.
How can Kosta have knee tendinitis? Did he hurt it cutting his lawn or something....the guy never plays.
Did we hear any additional details about the Achilles soreness? Is it like a load management type thing, or possibly an actual injury that may keep him out a while?
