What a great signing: he's better then Danny Green and he's coming in at 11 million cheaper Rob is having one hell of an off-season so far
Would like to see some clips of him on D and just moving. I know he ruptured an achilles too. Has he done fairly well with it since coming back from the injury? Is he as fast as Green at least or close to it? How about handle vs Green's handle?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, always assume that players who sign with us will shoot a full 7 percentage less than what they averaged before they came to the Lakers I expect a 31% from Wes
That was more than 5 years ago. He's played plenty of games since then and has been a valuable member of a dangerous Milwaukee team. He's not a high-flyer and it didn't effect his game that much. He still defends and shoots the ball. Now, he used to score more before that injury, but I think that's simply because he was younger. He looks totally fine right now.
I would guess the plan is to bring back KCP, Wes slides into Green’s starting spot, Schroeder slides into the sixth man spot.
Great signing at a friendly price. Plus only a one year deal. Nice, Rob! Perfect DG replacement. And I love that his dad was a Laker. I remember him! He was on my championship tee shirt!
Really wanted Justin Holiday for this role, but Wes was the 2nd best choice and is presumably a lot cheaper. A bit old, but good signing.
wonder if that's aldridge speculating. and it's possible kcp backs up but plays more minutes. yeah, bracing for it. great signing though.
