Jru is a legit All Star caliber two way guard. He gets by a lot of people in every game. Those " legit" NBA players included.
It was more Gabriel didn't defend the play well: Jru for example got the cutter or open 3 because Gabriel messed on the rotation off the PnR. As already pointed out they hunted him. Not mad at him but if this wants to make a playoff run other teams are going to have a lot of good offensive guards who can exploit him
I believe that he'll improve as he plays, the kid hasn't played much in his career to this point. I think he's well worth the 15 min or so we look to get from him.
Chris Haynes said on his live stream show that Gabriel will be back for our next game. So there's a little bit of good news.
Makes little sense. Dude is super solid for us, he should be able to get like 18-20 mins, he’s averaging 14 right now
He’s really been contributing since he’s been back as well. He and Bryant are doing a solid job with AD out hurt. That corner three at the end of the first was NOICE!
he's generally been a positive this year. i wasn't sure if we should keep him on after last year, but he's been finding ways to make things happen in short minutes, which this team needs.
Deserving bump. TB couldn't play Wood, so we had to have a strong game from Gabe. He did his part with 14, 7 and a couple blocks
Russ's pet project is playing well lol. Seriously though, he has the physical tools, his confidence level is up big-time from last season. Wenyen, Dennis and Thomas are playing way better than minimum guys. Rob did a good job here. Troy too
really didn't think this would come into play, but we should have early bird rights on him, right? so yeah, like reaves, the ball is in our court on keeping him next year. i don't think anyone's going to show up with a big offer, so i think he's ours.
He seems to have the coordination and drive to continue working (like with Ham) and getting better skills and impact wise.
