Fabulous shooting tonight. 4 of 5 from downtown. 6 of 9 overall. Great to see, and I hope he gets more PT going forward. Nice to see him do his thing.

He really should have gotten the shot down the stretch instead of Lebron. Wish they had set up a play for him in the corner for the three.

Cook and Daniels have lately shown why they were brought in here. We need these guys come playoff time.

Especially late 4th quarter...guys like Cook and Daniels will be essential to

    a) space the floor
    b) hit the 3
    c) make FTs

But one or both will be gone right? Collison and “the wing defender”?

I don't mind if one is gone.

It makes no sense to have two who don't get enough minutes. I rather have one who gets 20 mpg and can get into some soft of a rhythem.

Great to see TD get some burn and deliver! Both him and Cook are rotation players. We’re just a deep team!

i don't think the wing defender is coming, and i think the cousins exception means we can take collison without cutting, right?

^^^^ The injury exception doesn't create an additional roster spot ... I think ( not certain)

    Edit from hoopsrumors:

The Wizards, Pelicans, Lakers, and Nets all have full 15-man rosters for the time being, so each club would have to open up a roster spot in order to use its disabled player exception.

Is that right?? If so could only have to lose 1 if the wing defender magically could be found who truly helped?

He was on fire out the NBA Jam levels. It was great seeing both he and Cook scorching the net. That was the first game they've both been that accurate.

If they could only play D and/or we didn't have so many mouths to feed in our guard rotation.

Huge props for them maximizing next man up mentality and staying ready.

Rats. That was the thing I've been wondering about.

If we could get Collison then I would let Cook go of the two. Daniels is the better spot up shooter from distance. Cook needs the ball more to get his rhythm. If it came down to it, Daniels stays IMO.

I'm with abeer3, I am hoping of course but am doubtful we can get Iggy. We shall see. If we can, I drop one of Daniels or Cook as well. Probably Daniels in that case.

With Collison coming in likely (especially with Boogie connection and twice or more the money) I wonder what might be possible in trade interest with Cook and Daniels going together somewhere ..... if some wing defender was hypothetically available.

IF Collison signs, then for sure Cook is the man out. No need to duplicate small shooting PGs. Daniels has value on those nights when Green is off to fill some SG minutes.

Not sure I'm in favor of this. How are we feeling about it? Kind of a shame that Daniels didn't get much of a fair shake here. Good shooter.

If this is for Dion Waiters I don't like it.

Has to be either JR Smith or Dion Waiters. Both are Rich Paul's Klutch clients. It's going to be Lebron's call.

exactly what i said in the other thread.

yeah, gotta take the good (AD and lebron and not knicks) with the bad (prospect of jr smith or waiters).
