Stepped up when we needed bench scoring, especially after the Clipper game. Can he play some back up SF too so we never see KCPoop again.

He was a drop candidate for me when we need the room but I’m not sure anymore. I think we’ll have to cut THT who we’ve havent seen at all or Cousins and continue his treatment ala Xavier Henry couple years ago.

Dudley could be cut, too. But lots can happen. Could cut or trade cook or rondo; guys get hurt, etc.

nice to have an actual deadeye shooter on the roster, though.

Lakers really need to trade KCP. Like, yesterday.

    Bump.

He's too good of a shooter to stay in a slump or continue to shoot the 3 ball that way he has this year. I still have confidence and am always surprised when it doesn't go in if he's got a good look.

Speaking of good look, that's the face you gotta make:

I’ll partly blame coaching on this. We got 3pt shooters, but they don’t seem to be a priority. I wonder if the success of our interior game is the cause, or is coaching not doing enough to get them involved regularly every game. Maybe they are an afterthought to LeBron when he runs the offense looking for AD or a lob to the center. Idk

I don't feel like these guys are either being used correctly/integrated/ or given enough PT with a free reign to shoot. I get that the staff wants the players to move the ball for the best open look but guys like Daniels and Green should have a green light and put up shots. I also don't understand why Cook isn't getting any PT at all?

Vogel's one draw back to me is the way he favors Rondo over all of the other guards on our team. Rondo's D is bad enough that playing him over Cook all the time makes no sense to me. Factor in the turnover machine that is Rondo and it really makes zero sense.

We got all of these three point shooters and guards who can score this offseason but they are playing very little in terms of minutes. I like Caruso and I get that he at least brings hustle and D, Rondo not as much.

We need to get him and Quinn going. Meaning Vogel need to load manage Rondo who can't play every game.

I absolutely agree KareemtheGreat33!! Way too much Rondo, too little Cook and Daniels. We have a lot of guards, let's use them.

Not sure who's at fault for neither shooter fitting in, but at the end the day I don't think they bring enough to the table to warrant minutes over the other guards. They're the most limited players on the roster. They can, theoretically, shoot and that's it. They're not getting enough touches to get a rhythm, so they're failing at the one thing they're in the game to do. And they're not elite enough of a shooter to be able to come in at any point and make it rain like JJ or Korver.

I'd move both of them if we end up moving Kuz. Clear roster spots for Collision and a wing.

its def. the system IMO, only Rondo and James drive and kick most of the time, Cook/Daniels hardly ever get to play with James or Rondo and now they hardly ever play. These are shooters, shooters need rhythm, you dont get rhythm w/o PT and set plays

I too think the system/coaching/lack of PT is the culprit for these two. That said I would trade them for Augustin if it came down to it, especially since not much is going to change in those areas. I like them both though.
