Thought he got off to an awful start and early foul trouble in his first shift. Then he really turned it around in his second shift. I think he had (at least) 8 of his 14 in that one including this fancy drive and roar and-1
Yeah he got some FTs but this dude sucked balls and he played like he was supposed to be Lebron. Stepback contested 3s, stupid TOs ie behind the back s***. Just unreal
Hate this guy and we survived him playing 28 minutes somehow (usually we lose when he palys more than 20 mins) He played OK in the 4th and hit 2 big free throws. I'll give him that
3-10 FGs, 1-5 from 3. 3 self inflicted TOs. What is this? Cam and Max only played 7 minutes each, they should've gotten some of those 28 minutes. Need to keep TP in the teens.
But back to Prince - trash a** player that's given way too long of a leash. However, he did hit some timely buckets and free throws in the 4th, and some decent D as well. Prince is perfect in the 15-20 min role but anything north of 25min and it's diminishing returns on him
Very nice game tonight! Couldn't miss. Perfect role and amount of minutes for him. Looks much better when you don't force him into heavy minutes and get diminished returns. Something every one of his coaches figured out much sooner than Ham.
This is what happens when Ham's been pumping you up all year, you think you have this move in your bag. You don't!
Had a nice little 9 point flurry. Thought he held up defensively too. I'm not going to get over this one for awhile though (not his fault) Rob made a good signing and TP has been good in the role he's spent most of his career in. When the foolish try to f*** with that is when things went sideways.
I really like Prince in his current role: 15-20 minutes off the bench. He was a steal at the price for a solid wing bench 3 and D guy. We’ve needed that. But man, Ham was such a moron making him a starter and leaving him there for 49 games before making a change. He struggled mightily and it was obvious. And we were a .500 team with him playing 30 minutes a night. Sure, when both Rui and Vando were injured of course start him. But when Rui was available he should have started and played bigger minutes. Total failure on Ham’s part.
