No kidding. Black is one of Boron's biggest crimes of the year. Who here wasn't excited that this young stud too was in the gym all summer with the other young studs. To improve on what we see in these plain as day highlights that show his skills already, athleticism for a strong guy like him, coordination and a great motor. If cutting Randle after his performances and double doubles and rebounding to 2nd string and 20 minutes is criminal ..... then what he is doing to Tarik could be considered a capital offense. You suck Byron ..... freaking pig headed, vindictive moron.

Apparently he's playing tonight for the Defenders.

He does not belong there at all. Only reason I see him playing there is to knock off the rust from being in BS dog house so he can finally get some playing time.

Why? Just why? This is a guy that averaged 6/6 in 19 minutes a game last season. What?

    f*** Boron.

It's actually not stupid at all. He hasn't done any game action in ages. It might be a sign that they're going to amp up his PT.

It's stupid because Black should be playing right now. He shouldn't have to go play for the D-Fenders because Byron is too stupid to see he's the third best big man on this roster.

We are a D-League team. Minus Kelly, Brown and Tariq should be soaking playing time on the parent squad.

I think you're all missing the point. Sure, he should have been playing earlier, but he's not. Given that fact, this probably means that his minutes are going to be ramped up. What's the evidence? What Byron said about Brown's minutes and why he's in the DL.

I don't believe anything Scott says...he's a walking contradiction. That said, at at the very least, I am glad Tariq is getting some activity, and I hope this does lead to more playing time in the near future.

Crap like this is why I had to take a mental break from Laker Twitter for most of the weekend.

This is just dumb. Black could easily be contributing on both ends. Especially playing with Russell.

If this is to get Black ready for playing time and we never have to see Sacre again, then I'm all for it. If it's to shake off rust so he can be ready to start coming off the bench for us, great. If it's just because, then I don't get it, but I sure hope it's to get him ready. If that is the case though, I don't like that Kelly is going there too. :D I will be watching this D-League game to see how Black looks, first one I will have seen in a long time.

Tarik has 2 dunks, a jumper from the corner (18 feet maybe), and a skying offensive board and putback layup in the first few minutes. 4-4, 8 points.

Byron's an idiot and Tarik should be playing 20 minutes a game behind Hibbert right now. But he's not. So I'm glad he's getting playing time somewhere.

I get that we shouldn't have to be so complacent towards our coach's incompetent decisions, but at this point I can't help it and I'm starting to numb myself to Byron's antics. It's either that or lose my mind wondering why he keeps on rejecting common sense.
