What happened with Tarik Black? I thought he worked on his "competitive spirit" during the summer? It seems like he had a very good start into the season and then got figured out by the NBA. I'm not sure the Lakers are keeping him beyond this season if he doesn't even belong in the "developing" young core.
I think it's more of a matter of Zu getting a lot more minutes and we seem to be playing the small ball lineup with Nance and Randle a bit more too. I have no numbers to base that off of. It just seems like it from what I've seen.
seems to be productive in small minutes against regular size opponents. Against height or in extended minutes, his limitations seem to get exposed. I don't have an answer on this one, but I do think he's an NBA player. He does seem to fit on the "expendable" list if you can find guys like Thomas Robinson for less that seem to provide similar functions.
Black is a smart guy and a good guy to have in the locker room but with Zu playing well and Mozgov's big contract I don't think he'll be on the team next year.
Seeing the replay of the during the game any other player might had broker then leg easily. Had that happened to Ingram... OMG. Terrible.
Hopefully a prenup was involved. Tarik looks like he may have saved a lot of money on wedding cost. Good job Tarik.
I guess Tarik has chosen to train elsewhere or does he still live in TN? Or has he been around? I haven't seen him in any of the clips.
We need to figure out if he's legitimately gonna be a small ball center for us or not. If not he needs to go.
Tarik doesn't seem to be too interested to work on his game in the off-season. He didn't work out on anything specifically last year and this year seems to be more of the same. I forgot...he said he worked on his "competitiveness"...which is another way of saying "nothing".
Brewer,Black combine for 12-13 million, along with Clark thats 24 million give or take. Add a lil more money and that's Paul Georges salary right there.
