BTW, bass took 1.5 mill. Im sure if they had wanted him he wouldve stayed for 6 mill. Hoping for the best for my boy T-Bo.

I'm hoping for the best as well. He gives us a different look at the 5; mobility. He'll be used a lot this season.

It was a player option, and he opted out. He either opted out for another opportunity, or he thought he would make more, but I doubt he left 4.5 mil on the table to be a nice guy.

    I call major miscalculation.

Just like Boozer was never seen or heard of again, though Bass clearly still has game, I call the "Stink of Boron"

......as the reason for this. That, and if you can't say anything nice, say it about Byron Scott. :Shaqwink:

Is Tarick gonna get any PT? Behind Randle, Nance, Zubac and Mzgov?

I think he's ahead of Zubac in the rotation.

I agree and as of right now I think he should be. I love me some Zubac but lets see how he looks in the pre-season compared to real NBA talent. Next year or maybe during this upcoming season I could see Zubac being ahead of Black, but not right now.

Zubac is a long-term thing. I view him as our eventual Mozgov replacement when Zubac is ready to go. He just provides something different from what Black provides and I think both have great value.

Unless we're getting the next Pau or Cousins, I'm not tossing Zu in a deal as a sweetener so someone else can cash in. We're gonna be running so many different lineups based on match ups, not worried about the minutes. They'll be getting a dose based on game by game situations.

me too, and nance and randle will be playing pf mostly, so i think black is going to be counted on for decent regular minutes to start the season.

Green plays C cause he can spread the floor and has discernable bball skills. What skills does black have? And if you're really gona use Green as a counter to my Black criticism of his sz than there's clearly a disconnect on how we both view black abilities

Oh there's been a consistent disagreement about Black's skill as well as some of the other players.

But in this case, my point is valid. Height is not the determinate factor in playing Center, especially off the bench. You may think Black sucks, but the numbers say differently and we've been around that bush before. You just don't like him. That's fine.

What #s? His advance metrics says he has .6dbpm and. -4obpm, your opinion is not fact, those stats suggest he sucks even as a bench. People see he hustle and tries hard think hes a positive out there, #s says otherwise
