I’m loving MWP on the pre and post game. Well, I just love MWP, lol. He’s one of the most honest and interesting people I’ve ever seen in sports. I’ve always been a fan.
Yeah. Horry has been good too and looks sharp in there plus seems to have dropped a few lbs lately. He had a black on black coat, tie and shirt look a couple days ago I was digging. The whole crew I like.
He's doing everything well except hitting the 3. He's 1 for his last 21 there. Kuz found himself gone from the Lakers because he couldn't hit the (and he still can't do it in WAS despite excelling in other areas). If these guys want to be a part of championship teams playing next to all stars they need to hit the 3 or make up for it by providing tremendous production in other areas.
The only one I can listen to, and who still puts all the rest to shame, is the great Hubie Brown. He’s one of the first I enjoyed while watching the nationally televised games in the 80s.
I like Hubie Brown. He actually gives real insight unlike the others that basically smell each other's farts all game.
Nice! And nice they swallowed their whistles on that travel in the 3rd clip. But then everyone else too seems to get that same courtesy these days.
i don't think that was a travel, tbh. and if it was, then i'm not sure what folks are doing with those side step threes. anyway, i finally got around to seeing the full game, and i thought THT played pretty well. he was a little shaky on defense in the first half, but was better in the second. and he did a good job putting pretty consistent pressure on the opposing defense in a variety of ways. he missed a couple clean threes, but he made one, and another was a forced shot near the end of the clock. he seems to be breaking out of whatever that funk was.
His jumpshot looks terrible and the result is also terrible. If he can't shoot because his brain cannot process it, then it's time to move on from him. He says he has worked on his shot all summer with lethal shooter but the results are worse than last year on a higher volume. I'm sorry, 22% from 3 on more than 3 attempts per game is just not acceptable. It's not even close to acceptable for that matter.
you mean he doesn't suck? and maybe...just maybe...the team is bad because the stars have been both bad and injured? and not because a 21 year old secondary player wasn't making enough threes?
At this point, I think I'd rather watch him, Monk, Stanley and Reaves play as much as possible, whatever the end result might be.
i think the minute distribution was good last night save for melo getting 30 minutes and stan getting 15. i think stan/monk/tht/reaves all need to be getting 25 minutes per game. these are the guys i want to come back next year, so let's develop them in-game. if and when nunn plays, let him slice into russ's minutes so that we can see what we've got there, if anything.
