Why though, why is that a question for Kurt? Why would ANYONE give Kurt this much decision making power?
my gif was a response to the fact that rambis has now been dropped by players and management as a power broker. good lord.
If someone on the forum asks me a question and I don't know the answer, I'll just go with "that's a question for Kurt."
Find someone to clothesline Rambis down the hall when seen. ...or have a re-do of that gif where players throw him through a glass window like the one with Byron Scott.
That’s not their practice facility is it, but it has the big Lakers players murals up on the wall? Or is it?
that's that peterson guy isn't it? feel like there's a good chance he's in our camp. dude in the tanktop has some size and mobility, too.
i really think johnson still has a little room to grow. if he's serious about developing his standstill jumper and learning how to better harness his ballhandling to make plays on closeouts, he could be a rotation player on a top-quality team, imo. he's got pretty quick feet for such a strong guy, so defensively, he should be able to figure out how to be impactful. i'm not sure the turnaround fadeaway is the path, but it's good to see him in the gym. i think by his own admission, he failed early in his career because he didn't work.
lol, just finished musing on simmons in the other thread. stan has basically admitted that he didn't take his career seriously early on. the question is whether that can change, how much it change, and how long it stays changed. jr smith is a good analog for me here. he had a ton of talent and was wildly immature. it harmed him early in his career, then he found a rhythm that enabled him to make a few bucks and be part of winning teams. but in the end, his warts were still there and couldn't be washed off. nick young might be slightly different case that speaks to the same general idea. in this case, i'd say i'm happy we have stan on a minimum this year and would tread very lightly on offering him more than that at any point (especially if it's for multiple years).
