    Following my shock a day or so into my first on line Lakers experience in 2005 on CL when I read people calling some of our players garbage …. I came to understand the word doesn’t have the same negative connotation any longer.

    It seems to be a logical conclusion that this is exactly what Kobe needed in his twilight years to extend his career and effectiveness. Lebron is able to be super efficient right now and score at unprecedented levels for his age. They are a solid combination and are working out their kinks. The big 3 need more time on the court together.

    They tried to give it to him twice. Stern intervened the first time and Nash's back gave out the second. I think his career winds down very differently if the CP trade didn't get axed.

    Okay, back on track. I get your line of thinking here, I just don’t understand how asking the other four guys on the floor to cover five while Russ is hovering around the paint is a logical defensive scheme.
    Now, if this setup worked with Russ in the past and produced a Chip, I would be all for it.
