Well 140-50 are real numbers, and they do rather emphatically, debunks the notion that Russ stat chasing is hurting his team. Even KAT said after that chasing stats comment, that Russ goes hard all the time, and a triple double is still a hard feat to pull off. And lastly look...as bad a he shot, if he converted 2 of those missed layups, we get the win. We've seen enough of him this season to know that he isn't always going to miss that many layups. Russ is a high risk/high reward guy. On the positive note...moving forward...if Lebron continues to do Lebron things, and the team is mostly healthy when AD gets back, the season will still be in play.

No, Russ, we’re expecting you to make plays that win ball games. We are also expecting you to give a sh!t on the defensive end instead of hovering around the paint to pad your rebounding stats. We are also expecting the team to make a big comeback run with you ON the floor with your team mates, not sitting on the bench, contributing absolutely nothing to winning basketball.
What the dude doesn’t get, and why I know he will never be a winner in this League, is that us fans would be perfectly happy with him averaging 16, 9, and 9 if we were WINNING GAMES. He’s all wrapped up in some fantasy stat line he’s made up in his head that he thinks we are expecting out of him.

Actually, I would be fine with 15,5,5 if he gave the exact same effort on the defensive end, every single time down the floor that AR-15 does.
He obviously has way more athleticism available to accomplish this than Austin does, he just chooses not to use it.
