Lebron is one of the best team players ever. His undeniable talent without flaws is integrating with other talent. It's what makes him great more than anything else he does.

In a lot of ways I agree. He has made it work with a lot of different players and a lot of different play styles. I don’t see any reason why he can’t make it work with Russ.

I also think Russ has shown he can make it work with a lot of different players, KD, Harden, Ibaka, big centers, double guard lineups, Beal, PG, Melo…

They’re going to figure it out. Historically with Lebron, that’s come when the other player has played to Lebron’s strengths. At 37, we need to ask the question, is it time Lebron plays to AD and Russ’ strengths?

and it's not easy to answer. But if you start missing 50% of the games, and the production comes in spurts vs the career wide consistency you've had, then it's time. We are on the precipice of having for him to make that decision. Probably next year at the latest. He's no longer iron man. Not sure he ever really was as he always took time off if he had nagging anything, but moreso now than ever.

Not sure if @ZenMaster has changed his ATGROW sig yet? LOL He takes a long time to get over his hate. I think we had to finally win the championship in the Bubble before he got rid of, "My team is owned and run by morons".

Man, the unforced turnovers were really bad tonight. He literally throws passes to fans in the front row. SMH

I'll say that I still hate the way Westbrook plays. When he jumps up and forces up an asinine pass, or when he breaks the back board from 15 feet or when his 3 (air)ball is 3 foot too short...its not fun to watch him play for me. Thats me though. He is a terrible fit, that's common sense.

All that aside, this team has also looked awful when he has actually played well, shot efficiently and reduced his TOs. So obviously he is NOT the problem.

With that said, he isn't the solution either and when you get paid a third of the cap, you better be the solution. "not being the problem" isn't good enough when you cash in 44 Mio. in salary. So I'd still rather get rid of him and get somebody else but this team's issue of not playing hard is certainly not solved by shipping westbrick out.

And people still get pissed if he takes a 3. Drive to the rim, drive to the rim…..he IS driving to the rim.

Russ is finding his way, it's going to continue to be a work in progress. Lebron is a dynamic player, we seem to want to encourage Tucker to be more aggressive offensively. Russ has to find the right mix between, attacking the paint and facilitating or scoring and deferring to James. He plays hard, it's just a matter of time before he and Lebron really click, and those two go off on everybody.

LOL. Just like AD gets harped on to man up / grow a pair and get in the paint .... then you see his league leading or upper percentile in all the categories there.

People have biases, and they actively look for confirmation to those. Russ bricks everything and just takes jumpshots. AD never attacks the basket. So on and so forth. Every year we have a scapegoat

Mine used to Luke Walton. But I don't feel bad about that one. Best thing he did was tell Phil to start Ariza over himself.

For me, most of the posters on this site back up their opinions on a player with facts. It’s refreshing.
