He's looking really good out there and turned the corner much earlier than I was expecting.

He's really cut down the TOs and dumb plays. I can live with the 1 or 2 too many 3s as long as he's successful somewhere behind the arc. The corner is really working for him.

He's ramped up the pace and is looking to get to the rim at a higher frequency.

He is playing fantastic basketball right now. Very encouraging.

It's kinda funny when he grabs the board, pushes the tempo, ends up 1 on 3, looking around like.... "guys... yo.... anyone here with me?"

That one fast break last night was 1 on 5. I'm sure he was like the John Travolta Pulp Fiction .gif

Here's what those numbers average out to...

If he can maintain something close to that

Those numbers above are insane. That's all-star basketball right there.

I'll always support a player that leaves it all on the floor. You go Russ :)

He's a much better shooter from 3 if it's a catch and shoot. The only pullup he hits regularly is the bank mid range shot. As long as he can keep that catch and shoot number above 35% should keep the spacing good enough

    Until we hit the playoffs.

And the defenses gone in and get tighter.

Whatever. Let's just keep celebrating his regular season awards.

There's a reason he has no hardware, though.

Props to him for getting out of his head during half time. I think he was operating in the first half that he had to make up for Bron not playing instead of just being Russ. After a wild and chaotic 1st half, he was the under control motor that drove the 3rd. 10 points in the 3rd, I think.

3s were ugly, but I can live with it if he's checking the other boxes.

Stop missing all those short easy layups after busting your a** and making highlight moves in so many ways to get there. :swear:

Russ is figuring it out which is good for us. This is why he is here. To help us pull out games when LeBron or AD aren't available.

What a "split-personality game" by Russ last night. Started invisible. Then tried to dish and score only to lose the ball and miss layups. Then returned in the second half controlling the game pace like a monster and did everything for us. Just unbelievable.

Russ was dominant in that second half. Great to see him take over the game and get the W with Lebron out.

If the 2nd half Russ shows up in the playoffs, we win the title.

The springs haven't been fully activated yet either. He blows by folks without the lift more often than not, and misses some of those finger rolls. He will eventually be dunking on guy's heads on more of those drives.

I had to replay it twice …. once to see how in hell Ellington even wound up with the ball, and a 2nd time to appreciate the pass. Kind of like Reaves’s left handed bullet off the dribble in traffic a couple weeks ago. Except I could see what happened there and ran it back twice for the sheer appreciation of how good it was.
