Thought he looked good as a facilitator if you're looking at the game as a whole. He kept up the energy after Rondo fouled out. But daamn! Some of those 4th Q decisions nearly gave away the game.

I think he and Rondo had a combined 3 TOs until Rondo got tossed. Then Russ had 5 TOs in the 4th and OT? Bad timing for that s***.

Yeah, this dude is so unreliable in crunch time moments, and that's putting it nicely.

He did have some very nice dimes.

    He's still clanking shots, though.

Just have to live with it.

I can barely take watching games when he’s in. It’s like, we’ve had decades of advancement in basketball, schemes, plays, etc and he saw it all and was just like, “nah, I’m good”, and threw it away. Pure out of control back yard basketball. The level of turnovers you see at the local park.

I am petrified of Russ having the ball in his hands in a close playoff game.

As I said before, Westbrook still plays as if it's 2016 where he tries to dominate by being an incredible athlete. He's slower now and can't break defenders down. His ball handling is a also a little suspect.

You can see the difference in how he was vs. how he is now.

Playing for us means that the knives are out fast if you're garbage. Maybe things will change, but it's hard to see that at this moment.

that is the perfect single word description to explain how bad Russell Westbrook was tonight. It was like watching the guard version of Kwame Brown at Staples against the Suns back in 2007 when I was there. It was turnover after turnover after turnover and it derailed not only the game but air out of everyone's lungs. If the Hornets weren't a s***ty team, it would have been an L in a blow out. He is that bad.

He really did play a great game until that crap show he pulled in the fourth. It’s like the anti-clutch gene with Russ. You can hide some of that with Lebron in. But Russ needs to get better down the stretch. Turnover city won’t cut it.

To be fair though he tightened it up in the OT and played well again. But that fourth was just terrible and ugly to watch.

It’s so infuriating- I think he is literally the dumbest PG of all time. Worst decision maker I have ever seen.

Whatever..Westbrook had 4 turovers after the 8 min mark. Charlotte didn't score off of any of them.

Mid-way through the fourth quarter around the time he first tallied the triple double, I had a preemptive defense of Westbrook mentally ready to go: “Yes he hasn’t had a great game, but this triple double isn’t just stat padding, he legitimately secured possessions and had some nice dimes that helped us carry the momentum after Rondo’s ejection”.

But yeah by the end of the game, I just can’t argue against any of the “unwatchable” complaints. It’s anxiety inducing watching him control the offense in crunch time. It’s a coin flip to decide if he’s going to have an out of control turnover.

When it’s not a turnover, it’s so frustrating to see him get in what would be good scoring position for so many other PG’s, but he just isn’t a threat from the same spots due to his inconsistent jumper. In this game he was at least pulling back out instead of pulling the trigger and throwing up more bricks, but then we have a short shot clock and nothing to show for it.

What’s unfortunate is that I think he’s actually good in the half court when running a designed play. Usually pick and rolls with AD (or Lebron when he’s in there) are pretty productive. But half the time he’s not looking for that, just putting his head down and trying to attack at full speed and see what happens.

Still not as down on him as some of you. Think he strangely works better with Lebron.

If he had ever developed a floater, his effectiveness in the paint could have been deadly. Too bad for us.
