Most on the forum have come to realize that trading for Westbrook was a mistake.

Some are smarter than me and called it right when it happened..

Now there are the occasional few who do keep supporting him and making excuses.

This team is horrible to watch right now.

And this the schedule getting more difficult this week, it might get uglier...

While true, I think this is a weak year for the West and a good year for us to struggle and still run the table in the playoffs. There's a lot of good teams, but not a great one in the West. The only team that concerns me is GS and that's if Klay is old Klay and after sitting this long and two serious injuries, the verdict is still out there.
    -Jazz: regular season fools gold
-Suns: no one takes seriously, right place at the right time last year. Add in Ayton not getting his extension and the Sarver drama, there's a lot of distractions.
    - Nuggets: not going anywhere without Murray.
    -Clipps: same but with Kawhi

Wow Murray is still out, or out again with something serious or semi serious?

I’m glad you have the confidence that we can “run the table” with this squad but with Westbrick, we may not even make it out of the first round.

yeah, all part of why it's a bummer that we started injured and dropped a few winnable games. i don't see a real scary contender in the west right now at all (including us).

At least ours are all minor injuries. Ones they should all recover from and not lose any of their game. Not the case with DEN, LAC, or GS. As long as we get whole and can build some momentum from all star break on, I still (even with this current stretch) like our odds come playoffs.

that requires faith that we figure out how to play with russ, and the early signs are obviously not at all encouraging.

i'm going to quite upset when two stars and a bunch of solid role players wins the ring this year when we have the best star duo in the league and decided that instead of building a roster to their strengths, we decided to add an ill-fitting third star who actually makes are first two somehow less effective.

I actually wouldn’t give up on Russ yet. He is a stubborn headstrong guy but at least he has some heart. He still has qualities this team can use. Really horrible that he cannot shoot and hasn’t adjusted. We need to find shooters and we have to play uptempo. Westbrook in half court without spacing is horrible offensively.

As bad as Danny Green was he fit nicely next to our Big Two. Rob took a shot at Schroeder who is in his prime and contract year and that backfired badly. Then we let Caruso go. We have just compounded our mistakes to appease a high maintenance guy like Lebron

I say this -- you shoot 30% from 3 and are a guard -- you are lazy bum that doesn't work on his game.

Yeah, I don’t get it. Someone who was supposed to be a Kobe disciple who didn’t work on his shot enough to be even decent just doesn’t sit well with me. Yeah, he may play with a high intensity and passion for the game, but his on court intelligence and shot selection haven’t improved since his rookie season.
