    Absolute trash.

I'm assuming it's too late to redo the Buddy trade.

Good God, Westbrook is the absolute worst.

    I hate him.

What a disgrace. You are suppose to be the star, it was your time to take over. 1-13 FG and -20.

1-13 for 8 points, fantastic. I’m not sure I can watch this team with him on it, this is like the 2012 “this is going to be fun” Nash and Dwight debacle all over again. If we could shop Schröder at the deadline we should be able to shop Westbrook, addition by subtraction. They can do the whole wait and see thing, they can say we need time, they can say we can’t do that to Russ, blah blah blah, but sorry, this isn’t gonna work. We sold our defensive soul for this, and it ain’t gonna work, sorry. We look like the same damn team that was getting destroyed by the Suns in the playoffs months and months ago.

I’ve defended his acquisition over the summer but man…

I don’t care how impressive the number of triple doubles he gets but that doesn’t translate to winning basketball. It can help getting a bad team into the last spot for the playoffs but it won’t get this team to the championship. Too many boneheaded plays at the worst possible times.

Its getting harder to watch these games and we’re barely 3 weeks into the season.

He's a slow starter and that's nothing new. Not sure why that surprises anyone or we collectively keep forgetting that.

It's ugly. Real ugly. It was ugly last year too, but during the second half of the season he was a legit MVP candidate.

It's a painful exercise but let's see where we're at come all star break.

Slow starter? What does that even mean? Getting to know his teammates? So... once he does, he will stop shooting dumb 2 point shots or run with reckless abandon 1-on-4?

    Wishful thinking.

Honestly, I really don’t like Simmons, but I would take him over Westbrick because at least he plays defense.

OK l’ll play devil’s advocate. That airball from 3 might have set a record. Like a tape measure home run sorta but in a negative way ….. furthest miss from the rim?

Slow starter and horrible finisher according to that image I posted a while back.

Watching him now I’m having flashbacks to the bubble Houston series where all you had to do was sag off him, get his team down and he was done. Bricked threes, out of control drives, horrible passes. The only thing you ever had to worry about was maybe a last couple minute flurry of him attacking, but if you withstood that it was over, he’d eventually make a catastrophic mistake.

The worst part about this is that the Lakers were the team who gameplanned his submission. Can't think of the last time a team decided let's acquire the guy we death star'ed into oblivion.

Too many injuries to put a nail in the coffin of this team but the acquisition remains puzzling

I'm not sure where to start this time. I'll just leave it alone for a day, see if I can come up with something reasonable tomorrow.

I don't think he's very elite anymore. Statistically, so far he'd be lucky to be among the top 90-100 players in the NBA.
