game log. when russ sat in the second half, the lead ballooned from 5 to 18, which was basically the ballgame. clips russ is lakers russ. they just have more talent than we did to step in and overcome him.

Russ's last game before tonight against MEM: he was en fuego. A really good game from Brick.

But in basic statistics you got the "regression to the mean." So when something looks freaky and stands out, don't worry: it will be shown to just be an anomaly.

And that's what the Clips saw from Brick tonight: 4/4/11 with 5 TOs in 26 mins in a Clips loss. He had a Freak Show 5-5 from 3 their last game, came down to Earth tonight and was the Brick we all know: 0-3 from downtown.

I'm sure the Lakers getting rid of him, replacing him with guys who play D and are smart, and the Lakers suddenly - almost overnight - becoming one of the best teams in the Association? Prolly only a coincidence.

As stated yesterday …. the old bait and switch one big game to suck the coach and everyone back in and then come the next 1, 2, 3 or 4 stinkers.

 

Let's hope the clips continue to allow Russ to just be Russ and have all the fun in the world out there. Both them and he deserve it like no other.

 

So Russ really hasn’t changed a bit EVEN having escaped from the “toxicity” of LeBron James’s influence per The Rock. And with all that “unconditional” support he has from Lue, per Russ throwing shade on both his Lakers coaches. Hot start burying a couple 3s out of the gate plus some Js and then starts clanking again by 2nd half. Plus Lue “unconditionally” glued his *** to the bench the entire 4th quarter, and not sure but last part of 3rd as well?

Yeah but Russ’s happy being Russ and being that anchor because he’s away from the “toxicity” of having to play with LeBron James as evidenced tonight in the Game 1 win over Memphis. Ruined the game with his having to be the man. Oh wait! And yeah great game Russ.
