Tomorrow night (AKA "tonight", as I'm posting this after midnight), Wed March 8th: national TV: you, Brick and your Clips host TOR.

No pressure, Brick: the Clips were in 4th place in the West at the All-Star Break when they acquired you. Now, if - and when - you lose you will have helped bring your team to within a game and a half of the Lakers. Think about it: you're FINALLY helping the Lakers in the standings! Can't you see the beauty in that?

We hope to pass you in the standings, like two ships passing in the night. Lakers heading for port in the Playoff Riviera; you and your Clippers toward an iceberg with your name on it. May the better team win. And by that I mean: may the Lakers win. But on March 8th: the Raptors are the better team until you prove me wrong.

took what, 4 games to drop russ's minutes back to his appropriate 20mpg? but we had no idea how to use him, right?

Did he play in the 4th? Trajectory is the same as with the Lakers

 

don't know. how long will they let him start until they realize that he's a middle-of-the-halves guy, at best? in the interim, will they have to keep playing PG and kawhi 40 minutes to get home wins against toronto? that went great for us, too.

 

I don't believe Russ played in the 4th.. Not 100% sure though, I was only half watching.
He definitely wasn't in for the last 8-9 minutes though.

 

i should have known that because they won.

 

Just checked the game tracker.. They subbed in Gordon for WB with 5:00 left in the 3rd & that was it for Russ. He was benched the last 17minutes of the game.
Not sure if he was injured or if it was just a Coaches decision though.
