Yeah. They’d have to include picks which may be on the table.

Folks are ready to blow it up and go all in for number one pick this year though.

That was absolutely one of his better efforts for us, LeBron didn’t really have it tonight, Russ hit some big shots, kept pushing the pace, really good stuff.

Last 15 games (minus Charlotte where he went off injured after 10 mins): 19/8/7 on 48%/36%/65% in 29 mins.

Over the last 9 games (since the Charlotte injury): 23/8/8 on 49%/38%/64%.

FT's are still frustrating, as are some brain explosions - but this is about as solid as it'll get from a 3rd Option. If he can keep this play up when AD gets back we're gonna make some real ground up in the standings.

Props to him and Lebron figuring out how to play together.

Russ can be very inspirational sometimes. This guy clearly has a lot of love and passion for the game of basketball.

This s*** is weak. Everyone always hating on Russ and trying to cause problems for our team camaraderie.

Russ took a good shot in rhythm while he has been shooting 38% from three over the last 10 games. Lillard took a heat check from 40 out, early in the shot clock. Lillard finished 3/13 from three and we won while Russ kept his mouth shut sitting on the bench during a bad game like a good team player.

Brutal game. He had to be benched down the stretch. At least Ham knows not to play him if he's off.

Not against you Weezy, I got no problems with you. Just sick of everyone waiting for the Lakers to struggle and then they pile on. Whether it's Russ or Lebron or the team in general. Looking forward to getting healthy and knocking their favourite teams out of the playoffs.

I think it's a coping mechanism..We've sucked for so long besides the bubble, folks don't want to get their hopes up or something. All they see is flaws..win or lose.

….. or AD with next injury. That would be a real drag and make me incredibly frustrated and sad. Some here will show up with the I told you so attitude to mock him.

hadn't thought of it like that, but that would explain some local fan behavior. like, at least when we suck you get to be smart or something?

anyway, russ has played so much better off the bench, imo. and now we're finally to where we can sit him in crunch time in games like this (we lost the first portland game because we didn't) and not worry about the team blowing up. the record doesn't really show it, but this has been a much more enjoyable season than last year, by miles and miles.

Well he definitely ain't getting moved now: looks like they are going with Burrow/Chase strategy instead. Bringing in 3 guys now who Russ liked in his long-time err one season with the Wizards.

He's been a lot better this year coming off the bench, but it's really going to come down to whether Ham can save Russ from himself...and last night, he did exactly that by benching him in the 4th.

Sometimes, Russ is going to be off. Last night was one of those nights. And that's OK.

I just don't want to play Russ no matter what...he's not in that tier of LeBron/AD where you play them no matter how bad they're playin because when Russ plays bad, it's compounding. He doesn't do ANYTHING good when he's playing bad to make up for it.

If Russ can be content with sitting on the bench during a bad game we’re golden. It’s a bad game that he will shake off but it means we can maximise who’s playing well. At any time that can mean Schroeder, Bev, Brown, Walker, Gabriel and Bryant.

Also we may have just built a team around Russ on the bench: Russ, Reaves, Brown, Rui, Bryant. 3 are former Washington teammates and Reaves is his rookie.

So true. Reaves and Russ have developed a great chemistry this year.

    That’s a heck of a bench.
