    @Slick2021 you celebrating tonight?

    Russ had a good game "off the bench..."

    Top 3 team in the West!

    That actually was one of his best games as a Laker, he attacked the hoop relentlessly, he made some fantastic passes, and he played some really solid defense. And then at the same time I’m scratching my head wondering why he couldn’t play like this all of last season.

    Yeah. Russ looked solid off the bench. Definitely how he should be used.

    if he plays like that, fans will unquestionably support him

    but can his hammies hold up at his age doing that? The downside on relying on uber athleticism as you age, is if you have not worked on your game, your effectiveness declines rapidly. Dude misses more layups and gets swatted more than I ever thought possible. He must feel like he's in an alternate universe right now, and be in denial of his life.

    If Russ was any lower, he'd literally fall off the chart.

    Would be ironic if Russ turns it around as a sixth man and becomes our most beloved and valuable player. Before the normal screamers start hating me I just said it was ironic not that I expected it to happen...lol.

    Easy there Alanis!

    I think his fickle hammy will shut him down before there's chance of that.

    he seemed to play well (only saw highlights, but they looked better than everything i saw in the games i've seen), and he said the right things.

    let's keep at it. no reason he can't be a positive force as a bench player.

    btw, his defense against larger scoring wings has been pretty good so far. i'd like to see him deployed on the other team's top wing scorer more often. the challenge keeps him engaged, i think.

    Who was that #0 out there? Looked like a functional, helpful 6th man.

    I really hope he keeps this up. We need it and he reeeaaaallly needs it for his career. He looks like a different guy out there. He got his energy and swagger back and actually enjoyed being on the court. There were a few bad plays in there, but overall he played a really good game.
