I'm fine with starting a 5 to protect AD. Unfortunately that means AD or Lebron have to go to the bench. I mean did you guys see Westbrook and Melo's tip off ritual?

I want AD to start at the five and finish there. I like starting strong and ending strong. He can slack off in the 2nd and 3rd if he is a wuss...lol. I think Russ bringing such an aggressive attack along with his rebounding allows us to do that. I also think with the pressure Russ puts on the opposing point guard we need AD to help with passing lanes.

Gobert isn't really a post up center like Embid. He doesn't bang down low with his back to the basket on the block much. He doesn't have a real jumper to speak of and isn't the scoring threat of traditional low post back to the basket centers. I like AD starting against Gobert at the 5 here and think he defends better then anyone else we have. This match up is favorable for us

Zubac plays more in the post and is willing to use his body on the block to score points and rebound. I prefer AD at the 4 and Gasol/Howard/Jordan in this match up in the regular season.

Jokic loves the post but he's more of a finess player although his footwork and agility on the block is superior to the above 2. Jokic is crafty and plays using his head. AD is more athletic, quicker and a better defender that can cause Jokic more problems then our other bigs so I like him starting at the 5 here in this match up.

Ayton is like Ceballos around the rim cleaning up all the garbage for easy put backs and catching lobs. He has a decent jumper from 15-18 & can face up or play on the block and bang. I also like AD here but I would start anyone of our centers against Ayton and let AD handle the 4 in this match up as well starting the game. If Ayton gets rolling I would switch AD to the 5.

We have enough offense this year where we don't have to rely solely on AD and Bron to carry us. AD can be the anchor of our defense and possibly get defensive player of the year. We have so many options that it's really gonna open his entire game up where a hard earned 28 points last year is gonna be much easier this year in a lot of games.

Vogel has a lot of options on how to use AD like you said depending on who we're playing and since he doesn't have to carry the offensive load outside of Bron he can really focus on D. Overall I think this makes us tougher to beat and score against with AD roaming the lane.

Damn can't we get some action already, I wanna play with our new toys already

We go and visit my dad in North OC 2-3 times a month, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen any slips gear there over the years. Dubs stuff during the dark years maybe, and some NY transplant Knicks fans, but I can’t remember seeing any slips gear there.

But Lakers? Hell, you see that everywhere.

I used to see Bulls gear everywhere too but not anymore. Even Pittsburgh Squealers crap but not much Claps gear anywhere.

I mean it's quite possibly the worst logo in all of the major sporting leagues.

    Slips ….

Works well with the mascot and mannerisms of the owner.

Attorney I used to know from bowling and invited to join also used to get real animated like that on our slow pitch softball team during games. And I spent a lot of years in the record industry. Where that softball team came from. :D

Tried a couple times early on but did not like, personally. Short energetic buzz then felt like crap immediately after it wore off.
