honestly, something generic, like: "1. hope we can get our big guns back in time to win some games, and 2. in the meantime, try to be creative and compete without them. it will be hard, but it can be better than it was tonight". the end.

    not "i don't know, what's your plan?" that's lame.

Bunch of blah,blah,blah..we suck without Lebron and AD. We did last season, and we will again next season if they keep missing games. Anything said otherwise is just noise.

One post couple days ago when accused of it, you admit it’s just “your” opinion on Westbrook, same as anyone else’s, no better. Didn’t make you right. Most of them …. stuff like above absolving him of all the horrid off ball and team defense and brain farts all damn season and implying everyone else’s opposing takes in those areas is just “noise”. Because LeBron and Davis. With the insulting blah blah blah blast for good measure.

not sure what you're driving at. you asked what russ should have said. are you actually defending his initial response? the reporter didn't ask an insulting question; russ just felt like being an a******. he might have gotten away with that in okc and back when he was good, but he sucks now and plays in a major media market. answer respectful questions respectfully. you've done this for 15 years.

No..I'm consistent as hell..the only reason we won a chip was due to a healthy Lebron and AD period. We suck without out that being the case. Last season, this season and in future ones if they repeat this recent history. That's it..everything else is secondary scapegoating. Kuz, Kcp, Dennis, Trez, Westbrook, old players, Vogel, Rob...whatever. I just push back on the nonsense about whatever, whoever that sidesteps the fact the WE SUCK WITHOUT LEBRON AND AD.

I'm saying I don't care what he, Frank or anyone says about this team. We suck without Lebron and AD. End of story..post game Q*A's are a waste of time to me. I never watch them. I suppose he should have been more politically correct I guess. I personally don't care to hear what anyone has to say after a loss. It's all noise to me.

Bs. I push back against nonsense. Now if you really want to know how I feel about Russ? He's been subpar this season. He blows to many layups, makes too many careless turnovers, and his FT% sucks for a PG. Those are my issues..I don't give a damn about his defense, nobody on the whole damn team has been playing defense all season!!! (Besides the three young guys I pointed out elsewhere ). Those things are more important to me than the continuous yapping about the dudes defense. Secondly trying to pin this s*** show of a season on Westbrook is some more BS. We sucked last season without Lebron and AD did we not? We didn't have any damn cap space once we extended Kuz and KCP..So..we weren't going to do jack in free agency anyway. If we brought everyone back from last season...we would STILL SUCK without Lebron and AD..period end of story.

Forgive me if I chose not to jump on the "Let's blame everything on Westbrook" band wagon. Frank has been just as subpar the last two seasons IMO. However again...we simply suck without Lebron and AD!!!

lol "continuous yapping" about literally half of the game that a guy making max money has just opted out of. yeah, i'm going to "yap".

and as we've been over--it's because of the westbrook trade that we had and have no way to fix things.

and your obsession with blaming vogel is much weirder and nonsensical than people being mad at westbrook for sucking. frank makes 1/9 of his salary and has a ring and a lot of past success as a head coach.

we can replace westbrook with any starting pg in the league and be better. same can't be said with frank and any head coach.

That’s always your line Slick. Your “nonsense” that we’re all scapegoating Russ for the entire season going south. Bull**** back at you and more deflection against his s****y play, not “sub par” in the specific areas brought up. If LeBron and AD were healthy we would have a puncher’s chance to compete for a ring if none of the other worthwhile players were also not injured. And because of the brain farts at the worst times there’s equally a counter puncher’s chance Russ would torpedo crucial playoff games to keep the ring from happening.

Dude we finished in the play in game and out in the 1st round last season. Is that not a fact? So the any PG jazz is a moot point. If you don't grasp that Frank has been mediocre this season, you haven't actually been watching these games bro. I don't care about the guy's salary, he got traded for 3 players that contributed to our sucking last season. I shed no tears over those cats. At least they got a ring riding Lebron's and AD'S coattails. Frank too.
What moves do you think we could have made? We were over the cap just resigning our own free agents. Nobody wanted Kcp and Kuzma...we shopped them all last season. Frank didn't want Trez in the 1st place. The best we could have done is run it back, and James and Davis have missed more games this season than they did last season. We'd still suck, we would just have someone else to blame for it today.

I disagree with that. That championship team was only special because James and Davis answered the bell all season. Nothing other than that. If they had this season, we'd be on our way to the Finals, with THIS roster. So miss me with the hypothetical Russ would blah, blah, blah. All I can say is that if those two had showed up for work this season as much as he has...then we could actually know what happened. Your speculation isn't more solid than mine. I do know that in spite of the supposedly superior roster and Vogel's great coaching. That team last season sucked without Lebron and AD. Maybe the main thing is actually the main thing?

Yeah refute the fact that we sucked last season because James and Davis were hurt. Then tell me how you expected this season to be better even though both have missed more games this season. I'll hang up and listen.

I pointed out where I had issues with Russ and said he's been subpar this season. Guess what? If he was outstanding in all areas...we'd still suck without Lebron and AD.

Stop changing the subject Slick and deflecting. Talking about Russ and your demeaning attitude in defending the indefensible things in his game. It’s not about scapegoating or any of the rest of your “noise”.

Agh..now I'm changing the subject? I've been saying the same thing for most of this season. I'm asking you to explain to me how Russ is the culprit for this season, above Lebron and AD being out. It's a simple question. Very difficult to answer if you are inclined to pin it on him though.

Agreed..this campaign has gone down the tubes. I had hope, but James turning his ankle has almost sapped it all. Everybody is frustrated, I'm more critical of the two superstars, but damn what can you really do about injuries?

I remember Dennis Schroeder and Andre Drummond punking the Nets on national TV last year in Brooklyn. They also beat down the Raptors in Toronto as well. The year before, Rondo and Kuzma blew out CP3 and the OKC thunder on the road. The above games were all without Lebron and AD.

While no one expects contention with those guys out the lineup, it’s frustrating that we significantly downgraded our roster and were getting beat down regularly with BOTH of them active. Russ is gonna get criticism that at times seems overboard because he has been a miserable watch, and because the move for him essentially cost us many useful pieces (not only the players and pick traded, but also Caruso and Schroeder).
