what good is practicing wrong form/habbits? hes been in league long enough and his shots are getting uglier and uglier, sorta like Shaq "practicing" ft shooting

At least Shaq never cost the Lakers a game because of his free throws. Not ever.

Yep; he'd clearly benefit from learning a set shot but he insists on jumping high as he can which messes up his mechanics and one reason he is wildly inconsistnet

Imagine if Shaq chose to take ft line jumpers in game? That’d be analogous to the stupid s*** Russ does. It’s one thing for opponents to attempt to exploit your weaknesses, but Russ’ are self inflicted.

Certainly nothing wrong with jumping on jump shots. I’m always ragging on THT for not having one. But pogo stick is pretty accurate in that the height is not consistent probably, and speed and explosion on layups with no touch at the end once he's there.

I think we gotta try a Monk/Reaves/Stan/Bron/Davis lineup.

Russ provides no offense or defense so we gotta limit him as much as possible. He's pretty much an anchor.

He needs to be traded ASAP. He's terrible on offense, he's a turnover machine, and he makes everything harder on offense for his teammates as everyone on the other team packs the paint.

Looks it's depressing watching him, imagine being his teammate, You got to run back hard when he blows a layup or gets a turnover, his guy gets open. The other team gets a layup line to start the game so guys like Grayson Allen and Connaughton looks feel like stars and get cooking.

If you don't trade him, bring him off the bench you can't start every game down in the hole with this dude

Knowing the world is watching him on the hot seat and that it has to be "just a slump" he goes 3-11 from the field 4-7 from FT & 4 TOs. I only watched casually after the first but I'm assuming he didn't do much or anything on D either.
