I just hope MWP is active and playing for the Clips games. Need to enforce that we won't be punked by fake tough guys. PP, Biff, DJ, and CP3. I see that getting chippy and them trying to welcome all 3 of our youngsters to the league, if we allow it. Put Hibbert, MWP, and Bass in there to keep it a fair "fight. "

One game, and I loved what I saw out of Hibbert. besides how he mopped and shined the floor, his physical presence on both offense and defense was something I have not seen since Shaq. His screen setting was unbelievably good, never moved for a foul, and was set perfect for shooting over...Kobe's hot streak in the 2nd and 3rd was a result of these screens...if he'd realize ISO plays need to be put to rest and use Hibbert like this his efficiency would be so much better. Then to see a 7'+ center so smooth and efficient shooting foul shots... keep it up Roy!

Roy is reminding me of Marcus Camby back when he played with the Nuggets in the 00's. Camby was blocking a ton of shots and grabbing rebounds on a team that didn't play a lick of D, but could put up 100+ points a night.

The 1 thing that excites me about Roy on an uptempo team is his rebounding not being such a weakness. He's looking like he could avg 10+ Rpg with a ton of blocks. With all the firepower we have id love to see Roy/Randle/Tarik just commit to owning the paint.

Absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be in there down the stretch. And why in the world did he play so little tonight.

I liked Tarik's athletic ability to show a different look late in the game, but when your team is getting crushed on the glass by a 6'8" guy shouldn't you put the big man in? Why not? Not to mention he can knock down the mid-range shot and stretch the floor too better than Black. Awful.

So does Hibbert have a future as a Laker? I'm of the mindset that a guy like him to protect the paint at the level he can is still a valuable asset to have. Yeah he's slow on those high screen and rolls which is why I think Randle has to be that guy and being able to step out and switch when necessary like Lamar did so many times and so effectively. Keep that big guy around the rim.

With a guy like Hibbert, you need a coach who can input a defensive scheme that is able to effective funnel the offense to him and make the correct rotations to cover the open man. When he's helping strong side, there is almost no weak side rotation to cover his man and we constantly get in trouble with that.

If we keep losing, I don't see him here long. With a new coach with a vision, maybe.

I think Thibs could make him DPOTY like he did Noah. Of course Thibs would also ran him to the ground like Noah.

Why can't we adopt something similar to what Indiana did last year defensively? Adopt something that Hibbert is familiar with
