This current crop of refs need to grow a pair, and chill out a little. Neither of the last 2 videos posted shows anything warranting a tech.
Honestly the look on this dude's face... He thinks he's untouchable. I can't explain how annoying that look is.
How could I let you down when it’s fresh in my mind? Being a ref can’t be an easy job. If you get all of the calls right and do a fantastic job, your reward is that nobody says anything. Make any mistake or be involved in a close call or non call, and the fans, the coaches, the whiny baby players, and the league will let you have it It’s a pretty raw deal.
It's a rough job, but it's what they signed up for still. And if he's going to be snotty about it too... I can't abide that. What I saw in that video is a guy who clearly is in a position of control, enjoys it, and uses that power inappropriately.
God I hate Harden. That kind of s*** and he pushes off every time he starts a move almost, throwing the defender off balance with his off arm.
If a player A does that to Player B and no way Player B avoids the foul call, Player B should just make the best of it and just foul the living s**t out of Player A.
How, the f***, was that a jump ball today? Like, what kind of a**-backwards line of thinking was that. We won, but I am still furious.
So apparently it is a rule albeit an unfair one to the Magic in this case. It wasn’t the fault of the players the clock was started incorrectly .
