luka probably needs his own thread, but did anyone see that play where oubre slapped the floor, so luka just drove hard left and threw up a runner from 17ft that bottomed? that was some kobe s***.
LMAO! What does slapping the floor mean? I got you sucker ..... bring it .... am going to lock you up? Terrific shot. Really going to enjoy watching him do well in the league but hopefully we can keep him from beating us a lot going forward.
What James Harden is doing is great, haven't seen this streak since what Kobe did, but what's stopping me from fully appreciating it is his how a good amount of his points come from the free throw line, in many of his historic games. I just don't like short cuts.
We can complain about draft misses of our own, but at least we have teams like Atlanta to point at and laugh to make ourselves feel better. They traded this guy for Trae Young.
Harden....sure broke Kobe's streak in emphatic fashion: Crazy how they're winning despite their injuries. At this rate, he's gonna avg 40+ ppg w/ Capella out as well.
Yes he did. Good for him. F him. Also to be fair, its easier to keep these streaks with 15-20 threes taken a game and the generally faster pace in the NBA and the generally lack of defense in the NBA. But its still an accomplishment that only he was able to accomplish, so kudos to him. Harden has taken 32 threes in his last 2 games alone. Kobe probably takes 32 in his entire streak lol.
yeah, i posted that a couple days ago: what happens in a world where kobe is given the green light to take 15-20 threes off the dribble in a single game? what if he's officiated like harden in the process? does he average 45/50? harden's going to get his second mvp, and ten years from now, it will be spoken of like nash's two mvps: some lame stuff.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/will-james-hardens-hot-streak-burn-him-out/ Interesting article with some insane stats: It's likely he'll burn out by the end of season (and have another mediocre playoff performance) unless if CP3 and Gordon will take more minutes from him later in the year.
