The Process has some serious young talent LLLLL would actually be wise to consider them and stay East
Simmons, Embiid, Fultz (providing he gets straightened)...is a good core to build around. They also have McConnell. Seriously, there are those who doubt that a James/Simmons pairing could be an awkward fit given they are similar as facilitators who command the ball. James though is a more reliable scorer than the former.
Hey I feel great for the kid that he looked pretty solid. Hopefully he got all that weird stuff behind him. The shot didn't look very consistent to me, but I really do wish him the best. It would have been a sad story if he hadn't worked out.
I think James in Philadelphia would definitely have some redundancy. Simmons off the ball is almost useless (can't and refuses to shoot) so that means he's got to have the ball the majority of the time. But hey, we heard similar problems about Wade before LeBron joined Miami. If that happens, that's okay with me. LeBron wouldn't win another ring with those ding-dongs.
Their SF Robert Covington and Reddick were no slouches either. Nice veteran group rounding out the bench too. Overall a pretty solid squad.
Ah, the one Jordan Clarkson threw the ball at after taking offense about a meaningless score with seconds left... Yes, he is a productive player too.
Chicago and Houston attempted 94 tree pointers The Rockets attempted more 3-pointers than 2s (36), shooting 18 for 57 from deep. Omg
Aldridge left the Spurs game with a “knee contusion” last night. If he’s out for any period of time they might be done. Entirely possible they fall out and the Clippers get in.
Fultz head butts Embiid https://www.yahoo.com/sports/markel...s-joel-embiid-action-blow-head-003341813.html Ouch.
Anybody else think Mitchell is overrated? As of right now all I see is a volume shooter who scores 25 ppg....on like 25 shots a game. No D, no playmaking, no rebounding etc. I don't think it is debatable that Simmons is the ROY...by a landslide.
Not overrated at all. He's a big reason for the (unexpected) season the Jazz are having after losing the players they lost. He plays SG and the team's leading scorer. He doesn't need to play make a lot on a team with Rubio but he is 3rd on the team for assists. His defense does need to improve though but he has the size and length that will come in handy. Simmons should win ROTY but I don't think it's a landslide. Mitchell's rookie season reminds me a lot of Lillard's.
Possibly, but this is the first year they're really taking that next step forward anyway. They only won 29 and 31 games since Towns was drafted before this year. They ended up drafting 5th and 7th the last couple seasons... It's possible we get Towns, Buddy Hield, and Donovan Mitchell. And Kyle Kuzma. And Josh Hart.
