I know we lost tonight, but seriously, props to Anthony Davis and the Pelicans. They just won 3 games in 3 nights, and Davis is a monster. They’re in the 4th spot after tonight. Screw Harden, Davis is the MVP right now, absolutely carrying his team without Cousins when they could have folded, while Harden gets to play next to Chris Paul and can’t be touched on defense. I hope the Pelicans keep this up and voters go with him like they did Westbrook last season.
I think he's scored almost 100 points total in all three games. I really hope he stays healthy so we can see what he can do in the playoffs.
NOP needs to sign and trade Cousins ... if its cap situation and rules allow it . I'd like to know NOP net and defensive ratings before and after Cousins went down .
Just popping in first time today and don't know if mentioned on Lakers Discussion yet .... but Kyrie has to be scoped or "minor surgeried" on his knee. This guy's never had a full season either I don't think. https://www.si.com/nba/2018/03/23/boston-C Bags-kyrie-irving-knee-injury OK something weird going on .... I have copy pasted three different links for this story and then I click on them to check and for me they aren't working. This is SI above. In case not working for you here is the article copied: By SCOOBY AXSON March 23, 2018 Boston C Bags guard Kyrie Irving will have surgery to alleviate irritation in his left knee, the team announced. Further information will be provided following tomorrow’s procedure, and the team will have no further comment until that time.
That's what i was saying from the start of the season. LeBron... or freakin Harden are one injury away from the trophy. Now that Love is back, i don't see Raps making it. This might also screw with our PG plans...
I will give major credit to Lebron here ... He's the only one who can stay healthy in this stars injury prones league
me too. i said houston had it right: be the team that will win if gs has an injury. well, this might have done it. all the more reason to collect allstars as fast and soon as possible--none of this "wait until golden state ages out" crap. injuries happen all the time. in fact, i'd argue that the healthiest, perhaps rather than the best, team wins every year. and yes, that's why kobe, lebron, and *gag* harden are so valuable. they're always available when it counts. and two of them didn't pee themselves. sorry, had to get a shot in on harden before he gets the mvp and finals mvp in the same season.
