It's a good idea. Consider trying it. It's really important to keep your BP under control. As you know. Our BP meds work pretty good.
The main reason so many people (who haven't been diagnosed with dementia) forget whether they took their meds is because it's so routine, we can daydream our way through taking them and then half hour later think, Wait a minute...did I...? So having a scheme as a signal to yourself like LTLakerFan suggested is a good idea.

Any deviation in your routine can throw you off, too. This is related to my earlier point. When you do something so often you can do it without thinking there's a downside to it, and forgetting here is a problem. So find a scheme. Pavlov figured this out around 1926: "We know also how different extra stimuli inhibit and dis-coordinate a well-established routine of activity, and how a change in a pre-established order dislocates and renders difficult our movements, activities, and the whole routine of life." - Conditioned Reflexes

Oh! Basketball content. Uhhh...In 1973 the Lakers played the Blazers in an early season game and won 111-98. 7-footer Elmore Smith of the Lakers played all 48 and blocked 17 shots, which is still the all-time record for blocks in one game. He had 12/16/2 with 17 blocks, for the odd triple-double where blocks was one of the stats in the triple-double. The Lakers finished 47-35 that year, 1st in the Pacific and got knocked out by the Bucks in the first round. The next year was the beginning of some lean seasons, with us going 30-52. Logo had retired and we hadn't yet scored Kareem. Damn those were some dark days...

On a day when Kyrie hits a left-handed floater over Jokic at the buzzer to win, MIA beat the hapless Pistons in DET on a buzzer-beating 3 by...Bam? Yep!:

I originally saw this from the Pistons' announcers POV and my gawd, you've never heard a more subdued reaction to a massive shot. This version is from the MIA announcers, who, predictably, have their tongues you-know-where. Cade could've run the clock down and taken the last shot but he shot with like 8.5 left: a mistake, although he was probably feelin' it.

DET has overtaken the Wiz in the East and, despite losing 28 straight earlier this season, are better than the Wiz, who are, at the moment I'm typing losing to the damned C-Bags by 30 points in the 2nd Q. It's gonna be the ugliest game of the day, for sure.

that cade shot was brutal. you're not a great shooter; just run it down. miami got a terrible shot, too, but they were playing with the house money cade handed them.

Cade seemed to be sayin' to himself, "I'm da man! I will sink this muthuh..." and he just shot way too early. I think he got started too early, too. Shoot it with 4 or 5 left if you feel like you have a shot: room for a put-back. It's a tie game, so drive to the rack and maybe you get fouled. And MIA runs it up the court...with Bam trailing? Not like they'd worked that out. He had no time to think about it, which probably helped him drain it. Man! Love the NBA.

“Maybe it was a little too much time, but if he hit the shot, no one would say a word,” Pistons coach Monty Williams said. “I'm not going to come down on anyone for that kind of possession.”

nice support from coach, but that's bs. it would be different if he had a nice look he tends to bury. you live with that. that's not cade's bread and butter.

if kawhi walked a guy into a 12-footer early and it rolled out on him, ok. if steph took a wide open three early in the clock, ok. if cade takes a contested three with 8 seconds left...nope. that contested three will be there with three seconds left, man.

Ant may be my favorite non-Laker since AD. That dunk was just vicious.

that's quite a dunk...but in my ideal world that's possibly an offensive foul and definitely not an and-1.

collins got punished for trying to contest, which is bad for the game, imo.

if he was a Laker, that's a clear Flagrant 2 and ejection on the offensive player

I'm not as worried about ANT as Ja because he has 50 pounds (and 2 inches, not that that matters..."that's what she said") on him. ANT's frame is built to absorb impact and falls, Ja's 175 lb body is not. Also, ANT has more in his bag than Ja, he's not as reliant on the throw caution to the wind and drive to the basket and whatever happens happens plays. It still increases the chance of injury, just see Blake Griffin, but with Ja it wasn't if but when. And then there's the whole off the court thug/gun drama with Ja that also forced him to miss considerable time.

what a goofball. Just memeing himself for the future so future fans can dismiss his stats altogether. I'm ok with that.

Had C-Bags @ ATL on while working. Glanced up and it was 63-36 Bags, in Atlanta. Ugly game. Bags have won a few games by 50 points this year. This was gonna be another one. Uhhh...nope.

    Bags went up by 30.

Then BOS relaxed and the Hawks won it! Surprise!

LeBum is sitting out again against the Bucks. He definitely is scared sh$tless when the thought of facing Milwaukee presents itself.

Sure he is .... LOL. He legit has a bad ankle for a couple months now and isn't playing back to backs. So we need to concentrate on the West opponent in Memphis the next night, since our lame coach we got from your bench in Ham effed up the first 2/3 of the season's record, and now we're fighting for the play in. Odds better there and better to go 1 - 1 rather than possibly 0 - 2.

Hey how's that great tandem of guard defenders in Lillard and Beasley working out for you? Not to mention congratulations on having the biggest prick in the league on your roster in Beverley.
