honestly, how many guys over 7'2" have ever had long, healthy careers. yao, smits, sampson, ilgauskas, both bols, bradley, porzingis...all riddled with injuries. i guess there has to be first, and i know wemby's team is keenly aware of this list and thinks they have the answers. i guess wemby made it through a full pro season in france, so maybe he's the real unicorn.
I t hink Snaq was 7’. Was Olajuwon? David Robinson? I think TD was 6’11”, but the point remains. The super big guys don’t necessarily have great long careers.
bird would be a star today, too, and i'm not even as high on bird as many. i think olajuwon was closer to 6'10. drob was 7, i think, shaq 7, kg 6'11", dirk 6'11". just saying there seems to be a literal ceiling in nba history. kareem was 7'2", i think.
The worst part of all this DOC f***ing RIVERS?! Again?! WHY?! He has a face for radio and a voice for silent film.
255 million last year alone for his 5% cut? dayummmmmm, wow. I'd sell my interest in the Washington Bullets too ahahahahaaha
The growth curve for a retired player sponsored shoe for a guy who hasn't played a game in over 20 years is astounding.
I know it’s summer league, but the Hornets look like morons right now, Scoot already looks great. If they didn’t want to take him they should have traded down with the Blazers and got something in return.
A Great read on Steve Kerr’s early life out of the states that helped shape who he is …. if interested. https://theathletic.com/4696030/202...cac-summer-league/?source=user_shared_article
