To be honest, I can still root for other teams when I can't afford Lakers stuff. Warriors are a team you root for pretty much when your only other option is Boston getting a title. So yeah, Lets go Warriors!

What wrong with Tatum getting a ring ? Steph has enough. it’s not like this is a dynasty type of Boston team , this is a fluke title if they win , they’ll go back to stinking again next yr .
with curry getting hobbled, i think this one's over. it's so important that he's in top condition for their team, imo. any slippage, and they're in trouble. as for tatum, i actually like him. seems like a good, hard-working guy who's improved dramatically over time. i just think the media has oversold his ability and impact because they like to tell star stories. boston's story is actually better than that: it's a whole being greater than the sum of its parts. instead, we get narratives about robert williams being the modern bill russell and stuff. no he's not. there are several guys like him in the league, imo. and tatum's still not a top-tier superstar like giannis/luka/jokic/embiid/curry, imo. and these things are ok, because they're still going to have rings in a week! why not tell the better, truer story? that when boston needed it, smart, horford, grant williams, and derrick white all stepped up HUGE while the stars weren't always able to bring it.
Tatum is not that good , he is very inconsistent and an enigma, but media just loves to make this about big names since GS has bunch of them .. comparing this C Bags team to the past teams is dumb , but they need to hype these finals up ..
I rooted so hard against Boston to get beat ..MIL/MIA/ BK none could do it ! This was the worst finals I was expecting. In the West I rooted against gs but nobody could beat them either.
i wanted mia/mil out east, and mem/dal out west. i was ok with gs. and, again, my distaste for boston is mostly rooted in (kind of stupid) history. they're a good story in their own right. homegrown guys, team over me, etc. as a basketball fan, i enjoy the warriors style of play more, though. and again, i disagree that they're just a run and jack team. they're not at all like dantoni's vision, imo. ball and player movement, skills and smarts on both ends over raw athleticism. i'd prefer that style prevails so that it's emulated. emulating boston sends us back to the 90s. same with miami.
I kept telling myself Boston is a fluke because Middleton was out for MIL … I kept telling myself MIA was banged up and gave the series away to Boston and we can all agree that NETS were a dumpster fire … I had an absolute cake walk for GS vs Boston in the finals… GS had no business losing game one after all the lay off they had , draymond running his yaps about how they wanted Boston , now these frauds are choking ..
i agree. i thought gs was clearly the better team, but when they just let boston walk over them at home in the 4th quarter, i lost faith in my own ability to evaluate these things. just unbelievable.
