Nets just got swept, what a colossal failure. I hate the C Bags, but that’s a good team, well balanced, good defense, well coached, complete opposite of the current Lakers. Durant, Kyrie, Drummond, Griffin, Mills, Dragic, Claxton, Seth Curry can’t get you ONE game?

Old dudes are getting old, that's the way it goes in the NBA. Golden State won't make it out of the West either.

Whew. Definitely prefer just not making it all to getting swept.

Have two teams predicted to meet in the finals ever flamed out this bad?

Embiid will explode for at least 1 more game. Harden is getting old too Lol. I'm not exactly talking about physical age. That mileage adds up eventually though, If the refs let em play, the high mileage guys start sputtering.

He's not that good. I think they got Dindwiddie with an eye on losing Brunson. He's a very good player but I wouldn't pay him 20mil. They should have re-sign him though, bad move
Oh boy. I think it's happening. It's definitely something that makes sense Doc pulling. It's remarkable how good is this guy blowing up leads. I'm rooting for the Raptors. With Embiid hobbled, I think Miami goes over them easily with their defense

Tatum evolved a lot. That playoff run without Kyrie with Brad on the bench did him wonders. I think he will win chips

tatum finally started playing defense like he can. the things that had me comparing him to gay were his relative lack of defensive impact given his physical tools, his ideal range being a couple feet in from the three point line, and his limited playmaking abilities. he's made strides in all those areas that rudy didn't make until his athleticism was leaving him.

disagree on most counts. brunson's a guy who gets overlooked because of his size. van vleet was an allstar this year, and brunson was similar at the same career stage. he's really good, and 20 million is probably an underpay. he'll get more.

and yes, if what his dad says is true they should have signed him. but i wonder. there's always half-truths in these stories. it's possible they wanted to sign some sort of shorter-term deal with player options and such, and they were doing so when his value was lower.

anyway, they're still in the driver's seat, and dallas is unlikely to lure a better player in FA than brunson. for whatever reason, nobody wants to play there, ever. dirk nowitzki was still in his prime and they had full max space and everyone turned them down year after year. feel like cuban learned from that (again, painfully).

Vleet has the 3 ball and played at a level that Brunson never did (well he's playing it in the series). I really like the dude, had him in my fantasy team for 2 straight years because he's always a sleeper, but basketball wise don't think he's in that 30mil level. He's not a great defender and he's undersized. He's strong and defends his own but for that value you should a completer package.
There will probably teams throwing that kind of money, bad deals are always happening and I think this is one like that.

Do you have him as a #2 in a franchise?

Is he for real calling himself “the god”? This is the weirdest generation of players ever, soft, entitled, just odd.
