https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...kyrie-irving-playing-home-quite-make-sense-me he's not wrong. and i'm of the belief that people should get vaccinated. but to not allow irving to play but allow unvaccinated players from other teams to play in the city seems bizarre. i get why it maybe works that way legally, but in this context, it doesn't accomplish the spirit of the rule. wonder how much pressure silver is putting on local politicians about this. probably not much, but probably some.
Hate to see it https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...ected-getting-2-technical-fouls-bumps-referee Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul was ejected in his team's 124-121 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. Paul was tossed after two quick technicals in the third quarter. He was angry after getting his right hand jammed on a pass and argued for the first technical. He then bumped into referee J.T. Orr a few seconds later, which earned the second technical. Paul left the court holding his right hand. Coach Monty Williams didn't have an injury update on Paul after the game, but teammate Devin Booker said Paul was "fine" during the postgame news conference and didn't expect the injury to hold his backcourt teammate out of the All-Star Game in Cleveland on Sunday. Paul, a 12-time All-Star, finished with 11 points and six assists in 19 minutes.

That was worse than the celeb game. Myles Garrett had better dunks. Usually you only get one guy who needs 40 attempts to dunk. This year, they all needed multiple tries. The crowd lost interest and all went back to their phones. Obi's would've been good if he had more force behind them. If they had Kemp or even Amare power behind them, they would've impressed.
