didn't realize PG's injury was a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow. that could require tommy john surgery. it may get better with rest, but i hadn't realized what the diagnosis was.
Morris brothers are pieces of crap for their cheap shots. Look how Morant lands on this foul high in the air and he's lucky he wasn't severely injured or worse, same as what another piece of crap, Allen, did to Caruso. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/los-an...in-face-dunk-memphis-grizzlies-032420850.html
durant's deadpan delivery was pretty awesome there. well, nobody shoots 20 fts in an allstar game, so harden's not very valuable.
Tier 1 of Title contenders (Of no particular order) Bucks Warriors Heat Suns Tier 2 Nets (Because of the Kyrie question mark otherwise I would have them Tier 1, can't count out KD) Mavs Bulls Grizzlies 1st round fodder Sixers (Because they added a negative like Harden and ruined the on-court fit around Embiid) Nuggets (I would have a different answer if Murray was healthy and bump them to Tier 2 otherwise) Jazz (they're closer to our Lakers) Cavs (theyre green they'll run out of gas when playoff starts) Hawks Lakers C Bags Wolves Raptors Clippers
if the sixers have a chance, it's now. the bucks are without lopez and will be worn down by the end. though the heat will be tough. anyway, this is the healthiest embiid's ever been, and harden has half-assed it all year, so he'll be as fresh as ever, too. i'd put them in the tier 1 list. i love luka, but the mavs can't win a playoff series with him being a one-man show. that stuff is difficult. if i had to pick today, i'd say heat/gs finals. but there's a lot of time for injuries, etc. to come into play. would love to see the cavs shock some folks. grizz are fun, too.
i keep betting against cp3's health and being wrong. but i'm going to again. i just can't believe he'll make it through a full season and 20 games of playoffs without going down.
https://theundefeated.com/features/...ling-in-his-nba-return/?addata=espn:nba:index nice story on biyombo.
Going to be a nice fit there. They stole him away. Hart had a nice night for Portland too (23 points), want to acknowledge that. But Pelicans ski masked this one.
Embiid is in incredible form. Playing at MVP level. There's just nobody who can guard him I think Harden will disrupt that team, but it's also the only they would have a shot in the playoffs.
