Because they are cheap and he’s owed 44 and 47 million for this season and next. I’m sure they are hoping a contender gets desperate or a star gets a big injury on another team and they can offload him.

lol. honestly, if russ got hurt, we'd probably have to trade him and a future first for wall.

i've only seen him a couple times this year, but he looked pretty bad both times. that said, his stats aren't terrible. if i were a team in need a veteran guard who could shoot, i'd kick the tires. might be able to get a pick with him.

He’s pretty young to be finished. Not political in any way, but some athletes are having negative reactions to vaccines. I wonder if he has been impacted. Some have reported reduced aerobic capacity, and that would cripple any pro athletes career.

I fully expect there to be adverse reactions reported in a league the size of the NBA. Lebron was supposed to be fully vaccinated, and he tested positive. Hopefully for the Lakers he’s not one with adverse reactions. Lots of athletes have had reactions. It’s scary stuff and may hit close to home. FIFA seems to have a substantial uptick of incidents this year.

I’m kind of shocked we haven’t heard of more incidents, but super happy about that too.

Mavs should offer Kleber. They failed at every other swing to get Luka another ball handling guard.

It’s like these vaccine people have a pretty good idea of what they’re doing.

yeah, that...or he's had a series of knee injuries and small guards often fall off right around his age.

Yeah. He's 31, a volume shooter, small dude with great athleticism. Once the knees or back go, that's not a favorable profile in the NBA. He'll get beaten on D, out muscled, and will struggle with shots. I don't think he's a bad player, but he's not the guy he was at the end of the last decade.

    It's a strange argument.
    You believe something about vaccines.
You cite FIFA (which has already been called into question - turns out heart issues were always, but surprisingly, MORE prevalent among soccer players).

This suggests you're basing your views, at least in part, on bad evidence.

Who are the "some" (upgraded to "lots of") athletes who have had adverse reactions?
LeBron having COVID post-vaccine is a) nothing to do with adverse reactions and b) consistent with all the data we've heard about vaccines.

You are surprised by the lack of data that confirms your view of vaccines.

Why not take it as evidence that your view of vaccines is flawed?

I don't see this as political in the least. I see it as a terrible argument.

I'll respond via PM as pretty much any response could be taken out of context or political. And we aren't going there.

We should get demoted to the G-League for losing to this team twice.

Largest win in the history of the sport and that lowly Thunder team gives us fits.

    And this was without Morant.

Some of the Grizz stats are insane in this one.
    -63% from the field
    -53% from 3, making 19 of them
-9 players in double figures (and Adams was 1 point shy of making it 10 players)
-Grizz scored more in the paint (82) than OKC did in total (79)
-Grizz bench outscored OKC's team by putting up 93

    This one is impressive...

To be fair, they didn’t have SGA, who scored 39 vs Houston yesterday, or Timothée Chalamet.
