so weird to me that like, just now, the nba media is realizing that zion's combination of size and speed is basically impossible. it's been kind of obvious since he was at duke that he'd have to drop weight and even then it might not be enough.
Why are so many rich people in power absolute trash human beings and psychos? Is that what it takes to get to the top, just not giving an F about anything or anyone? Absolute racist, misogynistic old pieces of crap run the world it seems. It’s always been known he’s a horrible owner, but I hope he gets ousted after reading the entire article about this.
many of them never really had to work a day in their lives and are fully disconnected from a lot of normal human experience. and yes, at some point, amassing a certain amount of wealth is kind of a commentary on one's moral fiber. i mean, space rockets, really? space rockets. anyway, it's not at all surprising that sarver is like this. what's surprising is how long it takes for that many stories to stay out of public view. i mean, that article just kept going and going and going. nobody at any point before now thought that maybe if people knew this stuff, things might change? what does that mean?
Few things bring me more basketball joy than seeing the Beard struggle as much as he has this young season.
Damn... another one Wonder if Dame is acting as the smoking gun for Olshey not trading him or getting him help. Partially joking.
leopard doesn't change his spots. think it's funny that this guy still has defenders even on this forum, and say, AD catches crap daily.
i'm as confused as harden, though, tbh: just now...JUST NOW you're doing this?! dude made a mockery of the sport and the officials for nearly a decade.
My only guess is rating are down, when polled that’s a large part of what people complained about, AND I’d guess on top of that players behind the scenes have complained about this on the whole and wanted it taken out. You’re talking about a handful of guys that abuse it, that’s a lot of the league that would want it gone and getting back to playing actual basketball. I’m loving the product I’m seeing the year (aside from our games anyway), it’s been so much better.
so the lower ratings are the only way to initiate the process? i guess that (sadly) makes sense. i just wonder what market research ever told them that people wanted the league's leading scorer to make more FTs than FGs.
NO offense, and I really do not like Hardens game but he did NOT make a mockery of the officials. The NBA made mockery of the officials and they ate it up. Stupid rules, stupid interpretations that were enforced upon the officials by the league's FO!! All Harden ever did was take advantage of it and the fact that they let it go on for so long is on the NBA!!! And by the way, Trent did foul Harden and as much as we want to punish him, letting this sh*t go the other way is NO BETTER than it was before. It is still calling the game wrong.
eh, not sure it's easy to draw the distinction. the refs didn't make the same calls for players not named harden. then when trae and luka caught on, they finally decide to do something about it? and yes, harden was fouled there. like guys get fouled all the time without a whistle. if it didn't look just like when he arm hooks, maybe they wouldn't have been fooled again? one of the biggest things for me with harden is the pressure he puts on the officials. not only does he not convert the bucket, he generally just tosses the ball in the air, which begs for a whistle. i'm sure his defenders will call that smart, but it's b*******. are you trying to score or not? nobody tries to score by taking contact and chucking his arms up in the air without the ball. nobody does this in pickup games. nobody does this in junior high games. this is a james harden thing. and now i'm ranting again. i just really don't want viral missed calls against him to bring back the dark ages. we're getting to see who he is for the first time.
