Wizards have won 7 out of their past 8. Westbrook is playing pretty good right now. I think he has come to terms with the fact that he sucks as a shooter but he can impact the game in so many other ways.

wizards seem to start every year just terribly, then recover to be a mediocre team for that last 70% of the schedule. which leads to, well, the late lotto.

He’s probably looking for some attention too. I just think he’s agreeing with the Jazz players that Utah is a small market. I think it’s funny how he mentioned that he’s was one of the best PG in the NBA. That whole thing didn’t last long. I remember when it was between him and CP3. What a joke that is now looking back.

i imagine the general culture in SLC could be a bit offputting for some people. when you've got miami and la out there offering similar dollars, what are you going to do?

Yah. Wonder how the general populace likes JC’s neck and everywhere else tats outside of Jazz fan being thrilled to have him. Aren’t parts of the state “dry” still or curfews on them? Probably nowhere easy to find lemon pepper wings?

yeah, i'm not up to date on what SLC is like currently, but i know some of that was true for a while there. whether those things are true or not, it's still viewed that way, and that perception is more important than reality.

I have no idea what the general population of Utah thinks of JC but in their game threads, they love him. He’s a big time shooter for them and they hate it when he sits.

glad for clarkson he found the right place. bench sparkplug for a winning team instead of primary offense-generator for a junk team.

OOOOOOOOOPS. Dumb a**. Time for the standard "that's really not me or what I'm about" denials. And the Media will do what THEY do and run this all up and down the internets (thank you sirron :giggle: ) and on prime time news. Have fun dude. Looked up to see if he was from Germany or of German descent but only found he was born in IL. His dad unfortunately, a golf pro, was killed in a bicycle accident when he was 6. His mom used to be an athlete who would run 10 miles a day, but had a horse riding accident around the time of his dad's death which left her in crippling pain and housebound. For whatever it's not worth.

I’m sorry I’m not buying the apology, have a hard time believing he didn’t know what he was saying. It’s pretty clear to me from his reaction after saying it in the video above he knew what he’d done.

You know, all I know is that it is a bad word, never actually knew what it meant. Not sure where it came from or why it was applied. I'm an old dude, when I was a child, I heard people use all kinds of derogatory names for almost everyone. We all know that many people from previous generations in this country were racists and very derogatory to anyone different than themselves. I can remember my parents being upset by things people said about other people. I never hear anything like that anymore. But I could see an ignorant person saying something stupid without truly understanding the meaning of what they say. Best not to ever go there or say anything out of anger, even with your best drinking buddies. You never know where that shiiiit could go.
