    Okafor has little value these days. He has been rather terrible this season coming back from injury and he showed immense immaturity in his rookie season.

    He can go wherever he wants but stay away from the Lakers.

    Wrong era wrong time for okafor. He's a back to the basket big man and pretty much nothing else. Not the best rebounder and not the best defender despite his size.

    He's young and can improve, a change of scenery will help. Also leaving the team with 5 talented big men fighting for mins would help too.

    no one's been able to get okafor to give a s*** on defense. that's sort of amazing. he's a crazy talented offensive player, albeit currently inefficient.

    at least al jefferson boarded some in his heyday...

    The Nets have lost 14 in a row. 2 road wins. Lopez for another year at 22 mill. Lin, til 2019 at 12 mill, Booker for another year at 9 mill. Still paying Deron until 2020 at 5.5 mill. They've got a handful of small contracts coming off the book this year, but that's still almost $50 million dollars worth of dead weight.

    But for the 2017 draft, Nets technically have their pick, Boston has the right to swap first round picks. Rules are different for swaps?
