More modern training to insure he's injured come playoffs again. Last year was an anomaly.

You have to start boxing training to work off the extra calories

Can’t wait to see a fat Russell Westbrook with no brakes going full speed

So for everyone on edge wondering if Markelle will ever get his J back .... seems to me the answer is No. IMO If this is what they are trying to get everyone excited about now. Hidden in the fancy editing. Very low release point similar to LaMelo Ball but without both his elbows splayed out to the sides. Better form than Melo. On second look even lower release than Melo. More like a set shot. Dude will have to rely on separation.

I get that fans want something to get excited about, but even less than casual fans can tell this ain't it. I feel bad for the kid and this is idiotic of the Magic social media team to think this was a good idea.

iirc, his shot looked funky even before all the problems. but it went in. and his real value was his speed/power/shiftiness on the dribble, with the jumper just being a fallback option. i'm pulling for him; he clearly has had some mental issues preventing him from being a player, but prior to that, i thought he was going to be very good.

Can't be sure at all but my impression recalling him would have been impressed with him I think getting into the air for normal type Js with his athleticism. Typically you don't shoot like he is now with much elevation. So let's take a look ..... have not watched yet.

Wow .... No not funky at all plus high release Kuzma's trying to get to. That was a beautiful shot in college with effortless elevation. How do you forget how to do that if physically, allegedly, you're healthy now? Keeps looking like it's between his ears?

Or whatever injury he sustained permanently affected the muscles and range of motion to get the ball over his head any more? I thought I read something about him channeling Jay Williams and got hurt on a bike?

that IS a higher release point, for sure. still not picturesque (i remembered that right), but yeah...it's different.
