Bron should do this every time Harden gets a whistle for something he doesn't get one for.

At this point in the season, where every win matters, I'll take anything positive we can get from him.

It really got me to thinking, though: about his stretches throughout the season.

I've been pretty engaged with this Lakers team; and I remember he had a stretch going where he was shooting well from three, then the contests got a little tighter, and his shots started missing...

He's been excellent since Houston. And some of what their doing is using him as a screener, which I like...

But I'd like to know: against better defensive opposition, who can close out quickly, will those shots still fall?

I think he still does have some utility without the shot falling, but it goes down if he isn't hitting ihs shots.

Props, though. He's been very good.

Is it wrong I just watched that Artest to Harden elbow 17 times?

I agree with this: the smart move would be for him to drive and kick at that point. He's not a great ball rotation guy but if he can drive on the hard closeout that would be fine as well.

oh yea, that was the best part: harden just standing there with a somewhat blank stare and taking it

No, no it’s not. The way he drops like a sack of potatoes is so satisfying. Also nice to be reminded that he’s been around and losing in the playoffs for a decade now, and that our time being subjected to his “playing style” is finite.

Yes. It's wrong. You should have watched it 34 times like I did.

As good as LeBron is with the lobs to AD, Rondo just does it so much better. That spin to the rim for the lob is such perfection and I've yet to see AD and LeBron do it in a way that compares to AD and Rondo. It's so simple yet teams just forget about defending it. I love me some Rondo but a huge part of me would have loved to see Rondo+Bradley out there. Thinking about it... Bradley+Caruso backcourt pressure on the defensive end? Damn!

Bron pulled away from him at the end, but their stats were nearly identical for a lot of the game. Finished with a negative, +/-, but I will never complain about 11, 10, & 8 in a win. Crashed the glass as well as a top tier big.

Another good game. One very disrespectful clutch assist off the glass to Bron. It was great to see.

Regular season, 7, 5, and .8 steals. Playoffs so far, 13, 7, and 2.7 steals. I don’t expect him to be consistently great or always reliable, but I’m not going to complain with his current production, we can win it all with him averaging even less than this.

That lay up he made...there was so much space and hardly anyone there. Parting of the Red Sea stuff. On his outside shot, sets his feet, follows through with little to no pressure. Should make it.

Rondo nearly sparked the run that ended the game in game 4. Nearly.

Some credit goes to Austin Rivers, who elbowed Caruso in the face in the 1st qtr as Rivers made a layup. Rondo watched the whole thing unfold and then immediately elbowed Rivers in the neck the next possession. Rivers got the ball again and Rondo picked him clean on the next possession.

Back in 2008, Austin Rivers visited his dad's team as a top-HS recruit. Apparently he took Rondo, Pierce, and KG 1-on-1 each and torched of all them. KG mentions it in an interview. I guess he talks a lot of trash in the process as well. When Rivers goes at Caruso on that layup, Rondo has a look on his face that says "oh not this MF". Rondo immediately avenged Caruso, then stripped Rivers on the next play.

A play later Rondo laid out Jeff Green on a screen and the Rockets were never in the game physically after that. We're one of the best defensive, physical teams and Rajon Rondo is our enforcer.

5 dimes, 5 boards, he and his brother harassed Westbrook. Love it. The whole family is in playoff Rondo mode.

Very good. Did not have amazing numbers, but clearly contributes. He's tough.
