I'd still bring him back but no more than 2-3yr deal at the 4-mill range per, if not him then I'd look towards DJ Augustine of Orl...he's under contract but if we had the room I'd take him into it maybe Orl throws us a 2nd rder or something to absorb his deal, if not then I'd shoot an MLE type over at Wright (hybrid/combo guard, was traded to Mem), Jared Bayless is another...basically I dont think we necessarily need a PG like Rondo but if he's willing to come back cheaper on a multi yr deal I do it otherwise look for more competent shooting PG, forget play making, we need scorers/shooters off the bench. Rondo is to much of an asst hunter to me, this guy has done it all of his career, passing up layups to a shooter instead to get Asst and feels like its rubbing off on Zo too or it'll eventually will.

Give me a break, Rajon. Yes, it's a great accomplishment for sure. Can we get back to how our team is playing, how you and Bron play 0 defense, our coach doesn't know what to do and the bench is useless in general? But congrats to Bron, he does deserve it.

Only the young guys actually care, but Lonzo hasn't played much at all. :(

I mean, when Caruso shows more effort than most vets, you have a problem.

starting to seem like his knowledge of the game is starting to outpace his usefulness actually playing on a consistent basis.

Hope he can make the transition to coaching, but I sense that will be hard for him.

If you like Rondo, want him back, or are even indifferent to him returning, please read this. He cannot be brought back. He’s a horrible fit next to LeBron, he’s a horrible fit next to Lonzo, and he’s been outplayed by Alex Caruso lately. If that doesn’t point to being washed up I don’t know what does.

Yeah. That’s the issue. He needs to be on someone’s staff not out there playing.

I'd like him back as an assistant coach. Or even as a head coach, but yeah he does not fit next to LeBron at all.

Rondo f***s up our spacing pretty badly. And he's not as good as someone like Ben Simmons where he's skillful enough to overcome that disadvantage and be a net positive for our team. Also, it would be one thing if we had 4 other guys on the court that could shoot the 3 (like Philly), but honestly we're almost the exact opposite. His defense has declined significantly since his C Bags days, too. Hard pass.

I'd sign Seth Curry and Caruso as backup guards

At this point in their careers, Caruso is a significantly better player on both ends of the floor. He does not bring that leadership quality, but is better at everything else, especially defense and effort in general.
