    Great Interview

Interesting that he and Luke have talked a lot going back to last year. Hasn't talked with Lebron and didn't before signing here. Rondo has already gotten clips of Ingram, Ball, and Kuz so he can help when needed

    Very encouraged!

    A few things:

Make them compete! Zo shouldn't be handed anything. Make him earn it and you know Rondo will push him to be better and more physically imposing.

Other than Dallas, Rondo has had rave reviews from his teammates and particularly his youngns/rookies as to how great of a vet he is to them. He's going to be so good for our kids to become killers. I really hope this dude sticks past just this 1 year deal.

But the most important take away is what Rondo said about Magic/Rob and their vision in beating the dubs their own way. You can't beat the dubs by playing their style and matching up to them. You gotta create your own style and have them match up to us. In a copycat league, we need to be the ones being copycatted and not the ones doing the copycatting. I'm thrilled our FO sees it that way too! f*** the dubs.

OK I keep seeing Franklin and assume it's a nickname. Who gave it to him and why?

It came from Mean Tweets. Jimmy Kimmel has a segment called Mean Tweets on his show and that one was an NBA Edition.

Lakers went from zero title players to 3 in one day.

    Rondo
    Ingram
    Kuzma
    James
    McGee

How does that line up work together? I haven't figured it out.

Probably great as long as McGee can hold up, especially when we are playing healthy Cousins or Embiid types of bigger, skilled centers that can overpower and out muscle him. He can't give many minutes a game right? Like 20? Brook would be awesome for when we need BIG.

McGee's focus is limited. I doubt he will be in many end of the game situations where its close.

I had genuinely no idea he smiled that much or was so easy in conversation.

I definitely think we will see a lot of different line ups to start the season to figure out what works.

Interesting. Pritchard was saying they were in competition at Indy with the Lakers for Rondo but that LeBron put in the recruiting call to sway the deal. Another thread here this morning. Vash posted.
