It was touching how much Kobe meant to him and the images of him at the memorial are moving. BUT if we're looking for 1 trick ponies who give us nothing on defense, I'd much rather get Korver. Sorry Cook.
If the Clippers don't even want him then he is not worth bringing back. They dumpster dive for all any player we leave in the trash outside Staples Center. Cool dude, but if we have too many benchwarmers we are not a title contender but a fire risk. I am happy with vet leadership from Dudley and his oddly dependable 1.2 threes a game when required and the fact that Dudley is due to develop old man strength at any moment now as he ages.
Time to move this back to Lakers Discussion! Not too exciting of a move for our final roster spot, but I get it. Another back-up PG for depth made sense, and he has chemistry and is beloved in our locker room.
I thought he was fine in his role, solid teammate, played ok when called upon early in the season. I also thought we’d sign a big with the last spot, but with LeBron, Kuz, Morris, Harrell, Gasol, AD, Cacok, and Kostas all capable of playing the 4 spot and up, I guess we did need guard help more.
I think that’s all of them for now Schroeder/Cook/Caruso/THT/Simpson Matthews/KCP LeBron/McKinnie/Kuz/Dudley AD/Morris/Cacok Gasol/Harrell/Kostas
We have one spot open but don’t have any money to sign number 15 because of the hard cap. We can pick someone off waivers towards the end of the year as long as they make under 400k.
cook and dudley were obviously immensely popular guys in the locker room. and that does have value. hopefully, we'll be able to hold down the center spot, though.
Haha, I didn’t mean to put him over Kuz, I think Kuz will continue to be one of the first players off the bench, I was mainly listing the names as they came to my head. I think Caruso will also be first off the bench if not starting as well.
