"I called game." Quite possibly the greatest quote immediately after a game I've ever heard. The Wiz are still in the playoffs and the Spurs aren't. Exhibit A that the East is "turrible."
This feels a little like our series against Houston in 09 ... playing down to the competition once Yao went down ... Of course we were a WAY better team than the Hawks . Bulls can't beat a Cavs team minus Love , Kyrie on one leg and a very inefficient Lebron either . I think we all agree the least worst team will go to the Finals just to be destroyed by the WC winner .
John Wall might try to play with his injury: A lot of point guards are either injured or playing injured right now. Conley, Irving, Paul, Beverley... Rose looked like he might have injured hist wrist last game too. He kept holding onto it.
The thought of Lebron winning a title always has me annoyed, it's the reason I have only watched a few minutes of the finals since 2012 game 2. I'm desperately hoping for GSW/MEM vs ATL/CHI so I can enjoy basketball again.
I think if the Wiz win tonight it's a wrap for Atlanta and also a wrap for Lebron not going to the finals again.
The number 1 seed in the East, psh I don't think they could have beaten any of the 8 teams from the West.
It looked like Pierce got hacked on that play. The no call lead to a fastbreak for the Hawks. Hawks up by 2 with 15 seconds left in the game.
Wow. Horford with the putback to win the game. What was Nene doing? Definitely. I hated his "head-jerk" move that he used to do all the time, but I do respect his overall game and his ability to hit big shots.
This is when LP archive/replay is very useful .... Leastern Conference games are UGLY but lots of close ones ... I just basically watch the last 5 minutes ( last quarter at most) of each game
Horford with the BIG MAN rebound. WOW. What an end to the game. In a weird way, that's been the most exciting series thus far. Atlanta may finally have woken up and realized what they need to do to win games in the playoffs.
