Of course, Harden gets the call.

Edit: Harden commits a dumb foul on Dirk's 3. Monta is hurt. This Mavs team is just banged up.

the mavs minus parsons and rondo is an 11th place team. they still almost beat Houston. and they really didn't play all that well.

I hate the Sprockets immensely. Hopefully they'll lose next round.

The Mavs were too banged up for this series.

Felton , Jefferson , Stoudemire , what a collection of washed up players .

Mavs should have kept Wright , Crowder and the center they traded for T Chandler ( don't remember his name right now) .

dalembert? lol. no. you do that chandler trade 10 times out of 10, and it worked out great.

the rondo trade made a ton of sense at the time. they weren't going anywhere past the second round with nelson at pg, so they rolled the dice. lose in first, lose in second, not a big difference if your goal is a title.

that trade ended up being a debacle, but you can't play Monday morning quarterback on it. crowder really isn't that good; wright hasn't done much since leaving, and both are FAs this summer. the only thing the mavs really lost was a 1st round pick, which they tend to just trade away or move for second rounders anyway.

It wasn't a bad trade but an odd one. Everyone was concerned about having Monta and Rondo playing together. I certainly thought they'd be better than this though.

I thought it was a great move at the time. I was completely wrong...

I think a lot of people thought it was a great move, me included.

I was skeptical about the trade for several reasons, but I could definitely see why the Mavs did it. They rolled the dice and failed.

I just thought it was weird because things were really rolling for them (on the offensive end). The Mavs also did well last year and only got better with acquisitions like Parsons. Cuban should have been patient, but he rolled the dice and failed again.

seems that every time the mavs gamble on trading for a fading star, it back fires. this is lamar odom part 2 with the rondo situation..

They also blew up a championship core in hopes of getting D-Will and Dwight. Lol.

I think it was cp and Dwight, and word was it was likely had Dwight not (stupidly, in Dwight fashion) opted in to his Orlando deal.

I think Cuban misread the new cba, and badly. but that team wasn't going to repeat anyway.

It wasn't going to repeat but he should have given them the chance to try to repeat considering Dirks age.

unless Houston improves dramatically in the next few weeks, or gs/SAS/LAC experiences a major injury, I think you're safe on the west side.

again, this version of dallas is a non-playoff team, and they've been close in all three games thus far.

Mavs could've won this series if healthy. I really wanted to see Dirk and co. crush Dwight.

I wonder which trade Cuban regrets more: LO or Rondo. He's gone on record saying the LO trade was on of the worst moves he's ever made, Rondo has to be up there even as a rental.

    Mavs start making a run.
Refs: Nope. Not going to allow that.

Mavs up by 10 in the 3rd. Maybe they won't get swept.
