Anthony Davis is so damn good. Good 1st quarter for NO; attacking the basket, and looks like they adjusted their pick in roll coverages. They're now switching everything...
Seriously, this series is so much more enjoyable to watch. Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry are too good. Meanwhile, in the Rockets/Mavs series, we see Harden shoot as many free throws as the entire Mavs team. Some Rockets fans even think that the refs don't give them enough calls. Lol.
If you give Anthony Davis anything close to a 2nd option, the team will be so much better; Evans is hurt, Holiday has injury issues, but he needs a clear-cut 2 way wing that could score, shoot, facilitate, play the pick in roll, defend, etc...
Curry's on a different level. When it's all said and done, he'll be on the very short list of greatest shooters ever.
^Edit; agreed with Curry; NO needs a better coach, and more personnel tailored to building around Davis; Davis needs more face-up moves to attack. If they do that in the future, I'll take NO almost everytime...
We all know Davis in NO will be a lot like the KG situation in Sota ... He'll have to leave to truly contend for a title . Hopefully he'll be smart about the "structure" of his 2nd contract...
Man that was a great game, probably the most entertaining series this round. Pelicans need to get the ball to AD more, so many times when they've needed a basket badly someone would end up just shooting a midrange shot and missing.
Seriously, I wish they were all this good. This series has been so fun to watch thus far. I love it. AD is so freaking good. In a couple years I think he'll be the best in the NBA. Meanwhile, I'm just enjoying this series enormously. This is what basketball should be like all the time.
I feel you on that. I started thinking that AD really has the potential to play more like KD only twice the monster...
If the Pelicans are going to win a game it's this one. Let's see if they can keep this up the entire game, especially down the stretch.
Green with a dumb foul. Warriors are down by 15 halfway through the 3rd. The Warriors have not been able to gain any momentum.
Stephen Curry is heating up. Edit: Warriors down by 20 heading into the 4th. I have not seen the Warriors get outplayed this badly this entire season. This is crazy.
Miraculously, Warriors started getting all the offensive rebounds. Curry made a 3 and AD made only 1 of 2 free throws. It's a 3pt game with less than 10 seconds left. Warriors ball.
